Hello, thank you for this tutorial. A question: How come my work has white background? Despite I follow you step by step... Thanks in advance for the help!
I would look into making a seamless texture instead of using the noise effect to create the noise to displace the particles. Then look into moving and cutting the loop to look seamless. It's kind a hard to explain how to cut it you just have to understand how looping works. When it comes to loops and effects, you have to play around and test ideas out because looping is possible without it built in. But it can be mind twister to come up with work arounds like programming at this point.
@lucid I tried just that...a good seamless texture is hard to find for this and I tiled and mirrored the texture map and animated the tile offset for the motion... It works for a loop but I just have to get the timing right for the speed and time length I want. Thanks for the video, I'm following for sure :)
I don't think it's possible with the limitation of CC Ball Effect. If you like to more detailed, I would look to Trapcode form or use Blender if you can't afford it or not into pirating plugins meant for studios.
I'm fighting this dolly zoom part for 3 hours and counting. I really don't know why my movement is off. It feels like the dolly camera movement in AE 21 is broken or something.Anyone experiencing the same?
How come my dots move sooo slowly compared to yours? The little bluish balls of your videos move fast as waves but mine barely move. What did i do wrong?
Awesome stuff, but now my fractal noise is moving very slow you can barely notice it with a naked eye, even when I increase the time value to 5000 still doesn't make a difference...???

No worries, I have some plans. First one is a redo of this one but shorten and more clear
1 likeReaaaaally nice !! (even more if you consider without any plugins!)
6 likesBut one question: why u use blur map when u can use in-camera options for dof ?

depth of field doesn't work with the ball action effect. I should of mention that.
5 likes@lucid could that also be done by adding an adjustment layer with camera lens blur and masking it? instead of making a map
