Sad fact Mako was in hospital when he was asked to come back for this episode, he was dying. He knew it the production team knew it and you can truely tell how strained his voice was during this episode. Sadly Mako passed away before this episode went into final production so they added that ‘In honour of Mako’ bit after Iroh’s tale… that segment is sad not only because Iroh is honouring his son but that it was Mako’s last scene he did.
This is a pretty laid back episode. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. I guess you could say that this is one of those intentional filler episodes for what’s to come after that one. A “calm before the storm,” if you catch my drift. In a nutshell, the tales of Katara and Toph, Iroh, and Sokka are my favorites from this episode.
You talking about tears there at the end of your reaction... I didn't really see if you cried at the part where Iroh was singing and did you cry at any other shows you have reacted to? Except my little pony, I've seen you react to those and yeah.. I know the answer to that part where if you cried in Mlp or not...😅
Well I definitely haven’t sobbed or anything to other shows yet lol, but I do get teary eyed at multiple points, even if it’s hard to see or notice as much
Rest In Peace Mako. The original voice actor of Iroh.

Mako knew what to do with those roles. Greg Baldwin took over from there.

2 likesFor Mako…
I always cry at irohs part especially when he’s teaching the thief things and when he’s getting everything ready for his son

0 likesInteresting having a bunch of small stories strung together. Iroh's final moments in his tale is depressing.
4 likesI'd probably stay clear of the wiki pages because they have the capacity to reference later episodes.
1 likeHi man. I like yours reactions. Now I am in the hospital and I'm watching this video. Greetings from Argentina
