Finished reading Fallout Equestria today with the final update (10 years later).
The end had me tear up a little, because this story had me actually caring about it. Caring about the characters, both in the past, and the present. It had me fearing for the future of the Equestria, thinking that the end couldn't possibly end well for those in it. While I will admit, the end was not truly a happy ending, it was a really good ending.
In my opinion, Lil'Pip is right up there with the Mane 6.

It eventually lets you fall gracefully, quietly until a majestic bird (a phoenix?) swoops you up into an exciting ascending flight, only to be catapulted back to reality, left within a transfixed state.

Some writing can throw the most complex scenarios at you, but use the perfect words to being it across easily. Douglas Adams does this beautifully.
Not saying Kkat is a bad writer, but she writes in a way that makes the fic...denser. Like I have to wade through it rather than stroll.
to the ncr troops who died for that wall. for the brother hood who sent in troops. and to the enclave for landing in when almost all hope was lost. this is what america standes for fighting tyrany and when that day happend america became whole and we should keep it that way.

Allegrezza is short chapters at ~2000 words each, because the author doesn't have time for anything longer. Ballad is probably the most medium-length fic, but id funny as heck. 13 chapters though...
@TheHalcyonTwilight Comedy an Shipping is fine, but I love an adventure with shipping at the end. It is a shame that food adventure stories are hard to come by. Juggling around a believable antagonist and many plot points is apparently very difficult to do right.

I think if a big company was to make an mlp game (not a shitty one for marketing purposes like an actual good rpg or fighter or free roam, i mean imagine being able to make and fully customize your very own 3d pony and say if you choose one of the Pegasus race you can fly around and fly real high (every race would have its own perks of course) and get faster and just have a grand old time without doing any quests whatsoever!) I think that company wouldn't have to do anything ever again.

I like both Fallout and MLP...no, I love them. I just can't read FO:E, it's chapters are long, and it seemed like a slog to continue reading it. No offence to Kkat, and my fics on EDaily aren't a hair on her's, but I gave up after chapter four. It's good, but not for me.
