i mean, i am seeing all the daylight sensors and i do know that they can be used to transfer signals vertically wirelessly. but since you re going horizontally i guess they must globally update in some order or so, right? so probably you re somehow interfering with that which can be detected...
We don't know for certain yet. This particular design doesn't work in 1.13, and we're not quite sure why yet, but I think it's pretty likely we'll be able to get it to work for 1.13 and 1.14
I would explain but earth said he wanted to explain hashmaps. Look forward for hashmap explenation video from earth. Make extra sure to bother him if he doesn't explain it well enough.
@Xcom6000 if I remember it correctly, hash map is linked to the chunk unloading .. or am I mixing something up here? if not, this might even lead to RNG manipulation!? But if I remember it wrong, it's still Earthcomputer stuff .. awesome, just as always. ;-)
@Andrea Aristokrates it's not locational in the sense that you're used to, this will give you much more flexibility. However, there are some restrictions that I'll talk about in the explanation video.
How much were you guys drinking before the video? ;0

1 likeupdate scheduling in a hashmap affecting each other?
1 like@Phu Ngo you're getting warmer, but what's really special is how on earth we detect that (since tileticks are read from the tree set)
1 like@Earthcomputer I am still waiting though

Useless
0 likes@dematr sinba You kidding? You can send a signal long distances with a constant amount of effort.
3 likes@Earthcomputer ok, that's a game changer, in the video you made it sound like it's too locational to be used in a real world.
