The game will be deleted. The uninstaller is just coded to wipe out all of the files within the folder. If you didn't install the game in system folders you will be fine

may because subdirs are hard to list to delete in the uninstaller script or thats GMS2 or NSIS's fault Like some dumb children had another game installed in C:\ (not in any subdir) and when the children uninstall it, it just deletes the C drive =) So i think it is not the fault of the game creator that license seem legit

yeah this actually happened to me, when i am installing this on my computer i and said the directory of the file i did C:\Users\ralsei9124\Documents\ okay now after i install it i run the game until the end (on a scene where Kris was posessed) now i decided to uninstall it because they said it was just demo. Now i saw files deleting but i didn't care cause i thought it was deleting the deltarune game now after i uninstalled it, i saw my files was gone but my antivirus is on. it was a shiity arse trash i didn't make a folder so whole my document was trashed up
Of course someone finally makes a video on this bug... That Toby confirmed on Twitter and knows about since Day 2 of the game's chapter 1 release.
