.Buha na medu: Buha na medu (1971)Prema autoritativnoj i nedostižnoj"Bijeloj knjizi o popu u Italiji"(Arcana editrice, 1975.) najgore zlo talijanske glazbe 70-ih godina bila jeesterofilija,odnosno tendencija mnogim skupinama da prate angloameričke stilove izvan terena bez brige o pronalaženju"talijanskog načina rocka"koji bi, zapravo, bio najinovativnije i najkonfliktnije rješenje, ali i najteže.
Osim radikalnosti knjige,za koju je umjetnika koji su spašeni vrlo malo(Battiato,Nomadi, Juri Camisasca, Dedalus i Banco - preporučujem, međutim, ... samo prvi album),bilo je stvarno u Italiji grupa koje su, u trenutku prelaska iz Beat to Pop, posvetile lakoću inspiriranosti engleskim Rockom do te mjere da i same izgledaju engleski i vrlo često sa suučesništvom diskografske kuće......."Fleaon the Honey" svakako su bili među njima: englesko ime unatoč tome što je sicilijanski, bilješke na naslovnici albuma na engleskom, engleski tekstovi - izgovaraju se vrlo upitno - imena "englishiziranih" komponenti (Antonio Marangolo = Tony, Agostino Marangolo = Dustin, Carlo Pennisi = Charlie i Elio Volpini = Nigel ... sic!) i glazba koja se u potpunosti odnosila na britansko podzemlje 60-ih: od Beatlesa do Pink Floyda s pjesmama Malih lica, Troggsa, Mindbendersa itd...Iskreno razumijem kako su na Prvom pop festivalu Viareggia 1971. godine "Buhe" možda mnoge zbunile, unatoč neospornim instrumentalnim i vokalnim vještinama.Njihova kvaliteta i njihova inteligencija natjerali su ga
da odmah shvati kako to učiniti:bacili su svoju podložnost Njegovom Veličanstvukoprive, promijenili ime prvo u "Flea" (1972), a zatim konačno u "Etna" (1975)(što nije maksimum originalnosti za Sicilijanac, ali u ovom trenutku je u redu)i producirali dva superfina albuma, izvrsnog standarda i ovaj put ...Završna napomena: dolaskom 80-ih gotovo svi članovi Etne (ex flea, ex itd.) postali su session-men ili aranžeri prvog reda u plaći temeljnih imena lagane glazbe počevši od Gina Paolija kako bi došli do pokojnog maestra Umberta Bindija.Ladislav&Zivanovic!!!

0 likesOsim radikalnosti knjige,za koju je umjetnika koji su spašeni vrlo malo(Battiato,Nomadi, Juri Camisasca, Dedalus i Banco - preporučujem, međutim, ... samo prvi album),bilo je stvarno u Italiji grupa koje su, u trenutku prelaska iz Beat to Pop, posvetile lakoću inspiriranosti engleskim Rockom do te mjere da i same izgledaju engleski i vrlo često sa suučesništvom diskografske kuće......."Fleaon the Honey" svakako su bili među njima: englesko ime unatoč tome što je sicilijanski, bilješke na naslovnici albuma na engleskom, engleski tekstovi - izgovaraju se vrlo upitno - imena "englishiziranih" komponenti (Antonio Marangolo = Tony, Agostino Marangolo = Dustin, Carlo Pennisi = Charlie i Elio Volpini = Nigel ... sic!) i glazba koja se u potpunosti odnosila na britansko podzemlje 60-ih: od Beatlesa do Pink Floyda s pjesmama Malih lica, Troggsa, Mindbendersa itd...Iskreno razumijem kako su na Prvom pop festivalu Viareggia 1971. godine "Buhe" možda mnoge zbunile, unatoč neospornim instrumentalnim i vokalnim vještinama.Njihova kvaliteta i njihova inteligencija natjerali su ga
da odmah shvati kako to učiniti:bacili su svoju podložnost Njegovom Veličanstvukoprive, promijenili ime prvo u "Flea" (1972), a zatim konačno u "Etna" (1975)(što nije maksimum originalnosti za Sicilijanac, ali u ovom trenutku je u redu)i producirali dva superfina albuma, izvrsnog standarda i ovaj put ...Završna napomena: dolaskom 80-ih gotovo svi članovi Etne (ex flea, ex itd.) postali su session-men ili aranžeri prvog reda u plaći temeljnih imena lagane glazbe počevši od Gina Paolija kako bi došli do pokojnog maestra Umberta Bindija.Ladislav&Zivanovic!!!
