I love how quick and informative your video's are. watching your videos I've learned a lot on preventing myself from getting my information stolen by large groups or hacked by a single individual.
Man so informative... Makes me wanna install it on the laptop, but its too much of an investment. Seems kindof dumb to run this in VM, cause it will become the Vmception
It actually does not run in vm to best of my knowledge. I had it installed bare metal on an old pc but because of the VM inside Qubes you need to have a RAM intensive rig to run it to its full potential
@MiniWa1rus I have a business laptop with "security" features and windows preinstalled. MS and lenovo makes it such a pain in the ass to dualboot with linux.
I wonder if the computer architecture im working on provides the same comparison of security? Each byte of data or instruction can not access another function or single byte of data unless hard coded with the other application and you can go more secure by specifying the function inside the application, and even further to a particular assembly instruction out of a particular function of an application... My architecture is so radically different that every byte of anything is so unique that you can use it as an address or pointer, and no matter where it defragments or moves to physically, its 'address/pointer' is always the same, and is hard coded with accompany addressing that may access it else its rejected
I suggest you make a discord server or some service which is free to use and can be moderated where we can communicate directly to you, You have great knowledge and I'll like to learn from you!
you wanna learn for real?? go to a tech school to get your low end certs like A+, Net+, Sec+ then move onto your intermediate certs like CEH, PenTest+ CND, LPT, then move onto the advanced certs like OSCP, OSWE this is the only way to get the knowledge you need and NOT go to jail. Plus it comes with a bomb paycheck talking 250k ++
I installed it for a example on the thinkpad x250 with i5 and 8gb ram. And it does handle it ok. Obv a i7 with 16gb ram would be best for all the Virtualization. I'm making a full video on it soon for youtube.
Quite interesting. Sounds like the hypervisor becomes the weakest link though, once breached, everything else is reachable.

3 likes@Crypto The Llama 8gb ram is decent. The issue many faced with qubes is lack of hardware compatibility
