I had to research for every version of Windows XP just for this comment.
So earlier I actually ended up getting a bugcheck error: DPC Watchdog Violation. I knew that error is commonly related to the CPU and overclocking, but I don't even know how to overclock. Any idea on what may have caused it?
@@natebrwn I think the bugcheck was probably just coincidence (my laptop still seems to run just fine), but it might be a sign that my 6-year old Toshiba Satellite might be starting to finally die.
I had the same problem with my windows 8.1 what i did was held down control and f8 while my pc was restarting and i got to this control panel and there was this option system restore and that would usally take a while then i think every thing would be alright but one word of caution never install chromium or any trogan horse 'anti virus' software because they are viruses and they hide inside ur computer its always best to get a actual anti virus software from a best buy store or any other tech stores and i suggest webroot because i too was in this situation and i took my laptop to best buy and a computer technician installed it and know my laptop is super fast and not laggy.Also if you do get webroot i suggest you scan your computer frequently especially when you download stuff from the internet. Windows 95 and Windows 98 aren't really different. Most of system application on 98 are inherited from 95. The main difference is the configuration.
So both of those will count each other as a clone. Not good, right? We cannot run these under each other, since you can't run Windows twice but only put it in the femur breaker.
But Let's not forget. 9x series has a built-in DOS mode, which is really handy in this case. Let's misuse yet another handy feature Windows has and put the feature in the femur breaker. (why not)
Only this time I am gonna use some program or substance to make the systems have a femur like a human.

@Mateo Hideg Well, you are right, but 99.9999% of the OS is still contained in the Windows folder. It would be close enough.
Plus, as he said in the video, the two systems are almost identical, so I doubt there would be any changes in the files on the root of the C drive anyway.
Actually, 95 and 98 will format the hard drive during installation, so clearly they can work without MS-DOS. But Windows 3.1 is not actually an operating system, it's just a program running under MS-DOS. Whenever Windows was running, MS-DOS was running, too. If you delete Windows, you can't use programs because there is no operating system to run. It's the same thing for DOS. In effect, you just very simply can not install Windows 3.1 if MS-DOS is not running. And, because 3.1 is just a program, you can't boot your computer using it.

If you swap Windows directories, Windows 95 will become Windows 98, and vice versa. The Windows directory is the operating system itself.
