I'm religious, so there are things about this that I do agree with and things that I don't, but I do enjoy your singing and the sentiments you express seem pretty honest. It's an interesting song, I haven't heard the original before so I wasn't sure what to expect. But I'd never hold anything against a musician who's singing his best to express his best will to others. I wish more religious people were willing to do that. Thanks, replacer, for the music.

Most of what I guess I can't really feel about this song comes down to my personal experiences of religion and religious education, but I understand that religious education is often done poorly and I think that's really tragic because many people's well observed faiths and expressions of faith can often be quite beautiful (inside and outside of Christianity)...

I get what you mean, it's sorta just how the song is, and my choice of a slower tempo compounded it a bit; I was definitely conscious of it dragging a bit while doing it and took some measures to keep it from getting completely lost toward the end. Time constraints limited what I could do but I feel like I got it over the line :)
