Oh, and regarding "the villain's plan made no sense" thing, stop and think for a few minutes: has there ever been a RL villain who's plan made sense? And some of the worst villains in history, being Stalin and Mao, just wanted POWAH. You do not get any more generic than that. RL just proves that God is the worst writer of them all, a total hack who should get fired.
