Solid job, well done on a full RSMV. By far my favourite part is 1:20 - 1:26 (I've replayed it like 10 times), and pretty much all camera movement from there till 1:56. Looking forward to the next :)

That was a home teleport override only obtainable by those who attended Runefest. And considering I am in a clan where nearly 10+ people went to Runefest it wasn't as hard to find them and get the scene. Also, just noticed this is the first rsmv to use that teleport and the cow override home teleport (the scene right after it) in an rsmv. Woo.
@rsmv2you Hey, I was rewatching this and am really curious to how you did the shadow at 1:14 with the shadow's shadow actually showing the player's reflection as opposed to RS's circular shadows. I've tried replicating it in Vegas but can't figure out what you did.
@***** You will need to have a pro version of Sony Vegas to do this. Go to the track you are planning on adding the shadow to and go to the track motion setting http://puu.sh/g4bim/42b2725723.png
In it go under the timeline and enable 2d shadow. Then click on the 2d shadow section and it'll add an extra frame, bend that to make the most sense for the surface its going off of. This works for most still shot and doesn't look right if its casting on stuff with multiple edges. But this is probably the easiest way you can do it. Also, in the top left corner under 2d shadow you can change the intensity, blur, and change the color of the shadow and the transparency. Hope that helps. :)
Ha, actually didn't notice that. No the first clip was from 2010 when I was trying to record a scene south of lumbridge and I was getting everyone to sync the cheer emote. I just went back to the same spot it is now in the game and it just coincidentally had graves everywhere. Oops.

@Rikudou Okami That is the builders emote. If you get any piece of builders equipment (or one of the purse things) from the tower of life quest, wear it and do the beckon emote it does that emote that played at 30 seconds.
@rsmv2you Thanks I was always curious cause Ive seen it used in so many RSMV's but i've never understood how to get it because Nobody I know in game has it. Sort of reminds me of Naruto in the 1st opening of Shippuden at the end of the opening. XD
They have a subscription service now for only like 10$ a month for full Vegas pro access with all the plug-ins etc. Well worth the buyin, can probably get a free month through a promo. 👍

I really wanna go above and beyond with not only the coordination, scale of skill cape syncs, but truly take my time with editing and filming scenes, utilizing my creative skills I've acquired over the past 15 years of creative content output.
With that, consider this an open invitation but also a call to anyone wishing to show off how far you've come, even if you don't play anymore.
To be both real and passionate about something, at some point the realization of the stuff you see in screen... it could go away someday.
But that doesn't mean the time spent getting those achievements in pixel form aren't worth celebrating or bragging about. It's a passion I feel is lost in the swarm of growing tasks and challenges building in video games with little value to their challenge. We've all spent weeks, months, clicking away, hours on end, to get a single item Id with a cool ass animation attached to it.
And I wouldn't regret a single second of that time spent. I have however regretted several digital purchases I've made of the same circumstance.
Buying a skin, an item, an emote, to show it off cause you worked 3 hours at your job isn't really something to take home to the bank.
What is is the hours and hours spent playing with your friends who cheered you on for weeks and months, sending you a "gz!" at your random pm at 3 am saying "woot, 94 att".
That's the accomplishment and bond I've cherished for over 15 years and over 25,000 hours playing this game.
I hope someday soon I can record the final scene for the sequel to this RSMV, only I'm hoping for it to be a proper OSRS max party, with everyone doing the same scene as the ending to the RSMV above.
I'd be more than happy with that being my final RSMV and legacy on YouTube.
Could even record the entire rsmv leading up to max then record the max party, throw the final scene at the end and upload while having the party. Who knows.
+Poontang_Pounder In your pan/zoom settings for all media on the left side under keyframe interpolation there is a smoothness option. I usually set that to 75%-100% for keyframes and do some choice panning.

I agree, I just tried to go back after being gone about a year and I just cannot do it. It reminded me why i quit in the first place because it is boring and nothing has changed. @Daze FNC People can play at that age, it depends on how you got there in the first place. at 6 years old people can manage a proper game by then. The mechanics of runescape is really easy to understand it's point and click that's it.

@Rikudou Okami That is the builders emote. If you get any piece of builders equipment (or one of the purse things) from the tower of life quest, wear it and do the beckon emote it does that emote that played at 30 seconds.

@rsmv2you Thanks I was always curious cause Ive seen it used in so many RSMV's but i've never understood how to get it because Nobody I know in game has it. Sort of reminds me of Naruto in the 1st opening of Shippuden at the end of the opening. XD

I really wanna go above and beyond with not only the coordination, scale of skill cape syncs, but truly take my time with editing and filming scenes, utilizing my creative skills I've acquired over the past 15 years of creative content output.
With that, consider this an open invitation but also a call to anyone wishing to show off how far you've come, even if you don't play anymore.
To be both real and passionate about something, at some point the realization of the stuff you see in screen... it could go away someday.
But that doesn't mean the time spent getting those achievements in pixel form aren't worth celebrating or bragging about. It's a passion I feel is lost in the swarm of growing tasks and challenges building in video games with little value to their challenge.
We've all spent weeks, months, clicking away, hours on end, to get a single item Id with a cool ass animation attached to it.
And I wouldn't regret a single second of that time spent. I have however regretted several digital purchases I've made of the same circumstance.
Buying a skin, an item, an emote, to show it off cause you worked 3 hours at your job isn't really something to take home to the bank.
What is is the hours and hours spent playing with your friends who cheered you on for weeks and months, sending you a "gz!" at your random pm at 3 am saying "woot, 94 att".
That's the accomplishment and bond I've cherished for over 15 years and over 25,000 hours playing this game.
I hope someday soon I can record the final scene for the sequel to this RSMV, only I'm hoping for it to be a proper OSRS max party, with everyone doing the same scene as the ending to the RSMV above.
I'd be more than happy with that being my final RSMV and legacy on YouTube.
Could even record the entire rsmv leading up to max then record the max party, throw the final scene at the end and upload while having the party. Who knows.
With all that said...

+Poontang_Pounder In your pan/zoom settings for all media on the left side under keyframe interpolation there is a smoothness option. I usually set that to 75%-100% for keyframes and do some choice panning.

3 likesI agree, I just tried to go back after being gone about a year and I just cannot do it. It reminded me why i quit in the first place because it is boring and nothing has changed. I wish someone would create a game similar to runescape. I'm glad I quit the game and gave over 500m away to a random person.
