Anyone who is aware of addiction will immediately refrain from clicking these links.
Andrew, these sites sometimes save your identity to prevent showing the page a second time so you have to get ANOTHER IP address and then it will work ^^
This fails on most experienced people for one very simple reason: you can't ever truly repair windows, only make it work ever so slowly until it can't even BSOD on you.
People should really give some time into the popups, just try moving it around, if you are still not sure, try moving it out of the browser! I can't belive how people in this day in age still fall for these low level kind of scams, seemes like zoomers have even less internet awarness then their parents.

Uninstall Tool requires paid membership to remove all traces? I don't use remove all traces since even trusted tools can lead to system issues since sometimes these tools get multiple programs mixed up when they are using the same files. This can cause other programs to break. I always use the normal uninstaller.

I have tried both Settings app and Control Panel before. The Settings app loads the list of programs that are installed faster than Control Panel. However, Settings app freezes while loading and Control Panel remains responsive but takes ages to fill up the full list of installed programs.

The first Red Flag was the waiting to download since I used Mediafire a lot (Only time I really had to deal with a wait for download is Ad Links directing to Mediafire on MCPEDL and Sims Resource the former I often bypass because they are a bit too sketchy for my liking but the latter I just try to avoid unless 100% needed)
Be aware that some scam companies will put a redirect to your website on their fake popups to defame you. I've been victim of this after exposing a scam call center, they apparently put a redirect to my website on one of their fake popups and people added me on Discord asking why, I obviously knew nothing about that. Beware of that.
Enderman: which fake, dirty antivirus, like Norton, or McAfee, is behind this? me: those aren't FAKE antiviruses, the only close to fake antivirus I know is Protogent 360, but they are not behind this.

I don't use remove all traces since even trusted tools can lead to system issues since sometimes these tools get multiple programs mixed up when they are using the same files. This can cause other programs to break. I always use the normal uninstaller.

0 likesI have tried both Settings app and Control Panel before. The Settings app loads the list of programs that are installed faster than Control Panel. However, Settings app freezes while loading and Control Panel remains responsive but takes ages to fill up the full list of installed programs.
