Better than the original (though I never really liked the original to begin with ^^;) The swing to such a sad song seems a bit misplaced, but if you think away the meaning of the lyrics I find this to be a good remix :)
I loved this song when it came out (because a lot of my favorite MLP songs are either dark or sad). The remix was alright but I was looking forward to another theory. I can't wait for next video though.

Not your best remix but considering "A True, True Friend" that not saying much, but still really good. Well that my opinion. If I say anything more I fear I may end up acting at the rest of the main 6 when Rarity made them dresses.

Yeah, it is a short song, but I thought that it was good that they changed things up a little, as Find a Way tends to stick out from the other songs. Honestly, most synthetic instruments don't have a very natural-sounding pluck (unless you pay $400 for the instrument). But if you want a guitar tone that sounds more authentic, you'll have to more or less build it yourself: take a clean sound, and route it through an amp simulator and a cabinet simulator. It works surprisingly well.
@Zafran Arief Abd Ghani I mean, there are some good ways to create "virtual guitars" that don't involve FL Slayer. And yeah, different VST's will help with that.
@Zafran Arief Abd Ghani I'm a bigger fan of the freeware amp/cabinet simulators (especially those by Poulin). They get the job done and don't cost anything. And if he's looking for guitar effects, if he has the right version of FL Studio, there's also Hardcore.
Honestly, you can use pretty much any source you want as long as it's got a decently large harmonic profile. Just feed it into your amp and cabinet sims, and it'll sound at least halfway decent.

A remix is a redo of a song that makes it easier to dance to. Notion does a great job of preserving the song's tone (Like Stop the Bats, my favorite remix ever). Also note that sad songs such as this are pretty difficult to remix without adding some unoriginal beat in the background.

Blargh. Intro is far too long. All the staccato beats seem like they're trying to make this a happy song. Why would you do that? It makes the whole piece feel sarcastic. Why would you turn a song about being miserable into an upbeat pop techno mess? It's so repetitive.

2 likesI've just discovered Slayer, it comes surprisingly close to an authentic electric guitar sound! Plucking doesn't sound natural though.
3 likesHonestly, most synthetic instruments don't have a very natural-sounding pluck (unless you pay $400 for the instrument). But if you want a guitar tone that sounds more authentic, you'll have to more or less build it yourself: take a clean sound, and route it through an amp simulator and a cabinet simulator. It works surprisingly well.

14 likesA remix is a redo of a song that makes it easier to dance to. Notion does a great job of preserving the song's tone (Like Stop the Bats, my favorite remix ever). Also note that sad songs such as this are pretty difficult to remix without adding some unoriginal beat in the background.
