This character and this song is so relatable for me, because my parents are apart and i constantly switch in both of their homes, and i’m sick of people asking me that which parent and place is better, no one should decide which parents is better, doesn’t matter if your parents are apart or not.

I love that the bgm changes with the scenery, in Harmonizing Heights it's more synthy and in Seaquestria it's a lot more chill and bubbly, such a great detail! And at the end when they combine ahhh
I love that, too. What I find amusing is that the chill background is the place SCOOTS is suggesting, where the more pumping music is Sweetie. You'd think it'd be the other way around. (Not a slight at you, Sawtooth, what you did was totally appropriate)

This might sound mean, but i'm glad the writers didn't make scootaloo fly in the end. Like it's sad no lies here, but as we see in the show, she was at first upset and depressed about not being able to fly and was just a chicken pony. But in the end she learns to accept that even though she is a flightless Pegasus, that doesn't mean it should stop her from other stuff and just enjoying herself. Which is an extremely good lesson for disabled people and people with lost limbs and stuff, it's nice seeing that in mlp, Hopefully g5 will be good too. Edit: Grammar errors
@ravenpawsoup Yeah, and in the last problem we see she's a teacher at the school of friendship. I'd love to think she's teaching the students about being disabled and having defects about yourself, but showing them that it's ok and normal to be different from those around you because it makes them who they are, unique. But that's just my headcanon. \_'v'_/

i love join the heards remix! but the song doesnt have a resolution and the final portion is chaotic so its not so easy to remix, which might be why. it was a fun challenge for me to tell the story of the episode within the length of a song

I always thought it was because Equestria's dimension is the original, stronger dimension. Like, the parent of all of them, or just more superior if not.
@o yeah because the origin of human world is equestria. I think when starswirl banished the sirens he created another realm. He didn't want any equestrian magic there. But sunset went there caused a havoc between the realms. I think there is a deeper connection

Also,if you’ll excuse my ranting... I think mistmane and starlight are relatives, I think, she’s starlights grand mare? Maybe the reason we haven’t seen starlight’s mother is because she heard about the pillars in limbo and wondered where or when they would return, like sunset and the Mirror, that would maybe explain her abilities…
That's a good theory actually. They do seem to have some similarities when it comes to looks so they might be related. I wouldn't say she's Starlight's grandmare however. Perhaps a more distant relative?
I don’t think she could be Grand Mare. Nightmare Moon was banished over 1000 moons ago, and the pillars came before that. If Starlight is a relative of Mistmane’s, she can’t be her granddaughter. Starlight is too young for that.

@Yaresidentfireclaw- Please do! I'm actually very invested in this theory now. However, I don't think being related to Mistmane would explain her magical ability. From what we've seen in the show, magical talent isn't exactly hereditary. It's mostly learnt. And apparently, it's also linked to a pony's special talent.
I could probably write an entire analysis of Starlight's magical talent compared to Twilight's. It's just one of those things that I think about too much even though I'm not supposed to.

I’m sorry, but Scootaloo deliberately used tortoise rather than what would actually be turtles just so she could make a porpoise/purpose joke. That’s so infuriating as the show deliberately goes out of its way to mention the difference between a tortoise and a turtle in other episodes. This song is dead to me now. 😋

Early. By the way, The dark splotch on Luna I indeed think it is her dark side. Just look, She didn’t have it before when she was young. Also when Luna gave twilight her magic you can see her dark side is still there. Because she could control it. When starlight switched cutie marks you can see she was forced to, Maybe that’s why celestia git her dark side.
The wavy mane I really think it depends on magic.
Look at when discord took the alicorn magic. They’re manes stopped flowing. And when Luna was free from the moon she didn’t have her magic yet. And that’s why her mane isn’t flowing.
But twilight has a wavy mane in the last episode - Well,I believe like the crystal empire it depends on the love for other ponies or creatures to get a boost of your magic. Twilight may have gotten that share of love from flurry heart and that’s why she put it on a stained glass window in canterlot but with the crystal Herat and flurry heart.

That's a good theory actually. They do seem to have some similarities when it comes to looks so they might be related. I wouldn't say she's Starlight's grandmare however. Perhaps a more distant relative?
6 likesI don’t think she could be Grand Mare. Nightmare Moon was banished over 1000 moons ago, and the pillars came before that. If Starlight is a relative of Mistmane’s, she can’t be her granddaughter. Starlight is too young for that.

1 likePlease do! I'm actually very invested in this theory now. However, I don't think being related to Mistmane would explain her magical ability. From what we've seen in the show, magical talent isn't exactly hereditary. It's mostly learnt. And apparently, it's also linked to a pony's special talent.
I could probably write an entire analysis of Starlight's magical talent compared to Twilight's. It's just one of those things that I think about too much even though I'm not supposed to.

But twilight has a wavy mane in the last episode - Well,I believe like the crystal empire it depends on the love for other ponies or creatures to get a boost of your magic. Twilight may have gotten that share of love from flurry heart and that’s why she put it on a stained glass window in canterlot but with the crystal Herat and flurry heart.
