It's the mentality of people that think "Really? You two are dating?? CAN I COME TO YOUR WEDDING????". Also side note, Yona grew a lot more than Sandbar, so that would be quite the rocky physical relationship. I mean, I love Gallustream a lot, but I didn't realise until the finale that Hippogriffs are enormous creatures and Griffons are the same size as ponies, so that would also look rather weird. And I know there was a slight hint at Smoldercellus but it looked more like a friendship than anything else so shippers can have their day but it's not at all defined.
[Avatar Spoilers Below] Overall, there's no 'all or nothing' deal for a show to make because there will always be differences in fandom interpretation and preference when it comes to shipping, especially when there's this many characters in the show, unlike something like Twilight or Avatar in which there are two potential ships in a love triangle that fans will anticipate the outcome for. That is the entire idea of triangle relationships; to surprise the audience with who the real ship is going to be. The reason they couldn't do that with any Mane six ships except the one that most would pretty much be fine with (CheesePie) is because A) It's not a 50/50 chance, it could literally be any pair with any character, and B) they haven't hinted at many ships with the Mane Six. Appledash came out of the fandom with people suggesting that they are so competitive because they have secret feelings for each other. That was never hinted at in the show, but they must have liked the idea so they gave a Maybe on it. Maybe they are a couple now, living together, or maybe they're close friends who resolved their differences and help each other out. It could very well be either one so, if you like the ship, pick the first. If not, pick the second. Same with Flutterchord. They are still very close but it's unconfirmed if they are indeed a couple. It looks like a yes, though it's open for interpretation.

Two Things! It's nice to see all 3 CMC's Actresses return and although I'm sad John De lancie isn't Discord I did notice that Peter New is doing him now! He's Big Mac among many others so it's still in the family.
If Discord was his own original character, he would have his own Nickelodeon show. It would have the same artstyle as the Fairly OddParents so he can do whatever the hell he wants.
I can sympathize with wanting the original actors for some voices after being used to the originals for so long.
Back when I was into anime and not a jaded human being, I loved Excel Saga with the voice of Jessica Calvello as Excel. And when she destroyed her vocal chords halfway through the series they had to replace her with Larissa Wolcott who sounded like needles on a chalkboard. I'm over it now but it really took me out of the show.
I still imagined Jessica's voice when I read the whole manga.
Betting it's an animation error. They are credited with their normal voice actresses in the credits and I've seen other shows accidentally switch their character's voices before, especially when the show is new and the animators are unfamiliar with the characters.

About Discord "forgetting" how to get out of the mountain: It is implied that he does not "instantaneously" teleport to places, but rather he "offscreen" movements & "necesary intermediate activities" between two points in the story [so he can avoid EXPERIENCING all the steps, as that would be boring & get him tired]; yet it may be the case that an "astral version" of him actually has to do it [without interacting with the rest of the world, since time is stopped].
. Back in the Season 6 finale of Friendship is Magic; as soon as he found out that Fluttershy was in danger, he took Starlight, Trixie & Thorax with him, dissapearing from the garden around Twilight´s Castle and re-appearing at the border of the changeling territory. All of them were wearing the full equipment each of them would have needed to reach that place by hoof (yet none of them knew exactly what was the contents of their saddlebags).
-> A posible explanation would be that their memories of the whole journey (including the acquisition, preparation and loading of their equipment) does not carry on in their brains; but it "did" happened outside time; as otherwise their items would had "vanished" like the flying pigs if it was just "summoned" stuff added by Discord for the sake of the "adventure" theme.
In this episode of "Pony Life"; Discord basically stopped time and then started to fly to the volcano (getting tired at some point, having to go part of the ascent by walking or by doing short resting stops between each "flying hop"); never taking too much attention of his surroundings [given his fear for Fluttershy, since even with time around him stopped something bad may ALREADY had happened to her]. -> After he reached them & ended his "time shifting" spell; since his subconcious did not registered all the details about "the journey"; when he tried to get down the volcano he got confused, lost & had to get back to the peak [ or maybe he just wanted to be sure nothing else bad would happen to Fluttershy ].
Why do I get the feeling they were watching these in reverse order? They're talking about these potions like we should know what they are. I have a feeling last few episodes are going to consist of the potions being introduced
The fact that Angel isn’t even the same in this universe and you still hate him speaks volumes. I also don’t really understand the hate, like sure he was a tough cookie but he would absolutely be there for Fluttershy when it came down to it. And I remember Fluttershy and Discord being very much implied to be together at the end of FIM too, along with AJ and Rainbow Dash.

Twilight and Rainbow Dash in a race? In any other show she would never agree to that because Twilight knows Rainbow Dash is the fastest of them all and is more athletic then the rest of the mane six, also I'm glad they finally put Discord in. Although I wish he was in the first episode and what's this I hear about the guy who voiced Big Mac from MLP FIM is voicing Discord in this show. Also what is with Tank's game face, in the other series he is easy going but in this show he shows more emotion? Wait how do their pets know how to drive? I love the redesigns on the Cutiemark Crusaders, mostly their manes in this series also I think Fluttershy wishes she and Discord were more then friends? I'm just glad they don't have him first appearing as a villain in this series.

3 likesBack when I was into anime and not a jaded human being, I loved Excel Saga with the voice of Jessica Calvello as Excel. And when she destroyed her vocal chords halfway through the series they had to replace her with Larissa Wolcott who sounded like needles on a chalkboard. I'm over it now but it really took me out of the show.
I still imagined Jessica's voice when I read the whole manga.

1 likeBetting it's an animation error. They are credited with their normal voice actresses in the credits and I've seen other shows accidentally switch their character's voices before, especially when the show is new and the animators are unfamiliar with the characters.

7 likesIt is implied that he does not "instantaneously" teleport to places, but rather he "offscreen" movements & "necesary intermediate activities" between two points in the story [so he can avoid EXPERIENCING all the steps, as that would be boring & get him tired]; yet it may be the case that an "astral version" of him actually has to do it [without interacting with the rest of the world, since time is stopped].
. Back in the Season 6 finale of Friendship is Magic; as soon as he found out that Fluttershy was in danger, he took Starlight, Trixie & Thorax with him, dissapearing from the garden around Twilight´s Castle and re-appearing at the border of the changeling territory.
All of them were wearing the full equipment each of them would have needed to reach that place by hoof (yet none of them knew exactly what was the contents of their saddlebags).
-> A posible explanation would be that their memories of the whole journey (including the acquisition, preparation and loading of their equipment) does not carry on in their brains; but it "did" happened outside time; as otherwise their items would had "vanished" like the flying pigs if it was just "summoned" stuff added by Discord for the sake of the "adventure" theme.
In this episode of "Pony Life"; Discord basically stopped time and then started to fly to the volcano (getting tired at some point, having to go part of the ascent by walking or by doing short resting stops between each "flying hop"); never taking too much attention of his surroundings [given his fear for Fluttershy, since even with time around him stopped something bad may ALREADY had happened to her].
-> After he reached them & ended his "time shifting" spell; since his subconcious did not registered all the details about "the journey"; when he tried to get down the volcano he got confused, lost & had to get back to the peak [ or maybe he just wanted to be sure nothing else bad would happen to Fluttershy ].
That fluttercord part tho, that stuff made me smile!!!

I also don’t really understand the hate, like sure he was a tough cookie but he would absolutely be there for Fluttershy when it came down to it. And I remember Fluttershy and Discord being very much implied to be together at the end of FIM too, along with AJ and Rainbow Dash.

I never shipped Fluttershy and discord but now I definitely do and I can’t believe that Fluttershy is in love with him and I am really mad that they didn’t get the same actors for spike discord and the CMCS

In any other show she would never agree to that because Twilight knows Rainbow Dash is the fastest of them all and is more athletic then the rest of the mane six, also I'm glad they finally put Discord in. Although I wish he was in the first episode and what's this I hear about the guy who voiced Big Mac from MLP FIM is voicing Discord in this show. Also what is with Tank's game face, in the other series he is easy going but in this show he shows more emotion? Wait how do their pets know how to drive? I love the redesigns on the Cutiemark Crusaders, mostly their manes in this series also I think Fluttershy wishes she and Discord were more then friends? I'm just glad they don't have him first appearing as a villain in this series.

@@lightdarksoul2097 I think the animators made a mistake. They gave Sweetie Belle's voice to Applebloom for a few scenes. I'm sure it's just because the animators are new and they don't know all the characters yet, they'll figure it out in future episodes.
