I’m not sure why this specifically reminds me of it but I have a story this makes me think of:
I was doing an improv thing and I misread a prompt on a piece of paper that said “during this scene you’re noticing that you’re turning into a werewolf.” I thought it was that she (the person I was doing the scene with) was turning into a werewolf because I was rushing.

It still went great though. Improv is all about taking what’s going on and running with it so we had a great time.

Edit: She took so long to figure out what was going on with Listener-San’s transformation that I was starting to think that it was like The Walking Dead where they have never heard of the supernatural being right there.
