The cliffhanger was fucking insane. Imagine how we felt when we were watching it and had to wait for another year for season 3. Everyone was saying countless of theories as to why Cass did what she did. They did a good job of getting the attention away from Cass in this episode tho with the whole "Eugene is the one who turned against us" which was just a deception for the audience. I was fooled for real.
I'm like 98% sure this has something to do with that weird door Cass came out of when they destroyed the seashell house. Unless I misinterpreted that part and this is something else
Anybody else besides me get Hunchback of Notre Dame vibes from Eugene’s song? The melody is similar to one of those songs like “Out There.” Not to mention that Alan Menken wrote the songs from that film and Tangled.
