They sell cans of oxygen in Japan [Idk about other parts of Asia, maybe Korea too?] in their department stores.
They have a nozzle thingy that covers the user's nose too, so you have the option to breath through either your mouth or nostrils.
i actually kinda want that oxygen thing.... but only for one reason:
that entire product might be a scam, but some professional people inhale more oxygen so they can hold there breath longer under water (for breaking world records), a guy held his breath for 22 minutes because of that
i found that oxygen product to be really useful. i dont know what you guys are babbling about but pure oxygen before the workout actually helps you A LOT

1 full inhalation of pure oxygen is the same as 5 full inhalations of normal air, but since you get pure oxygen, the uptake is really high.
The danger of this is in two parts; Oxygen toxicity from contious pure oxygen exposure, and the oxidative stress it can place on the respiratory system if used too much over time (abused).
As a pick-me-up for rapid oxygenation during exercise, high concentration oxygen inhalation makes sense.
I wonder what would happen if you could apply it to your body in such a way that breathing itself is unnecessary. Would you stop breathing after a while?
Air isn;t 100% oxygen, obviously. higher amounts of oxygen being carried to your muscles can make a dramatic effect to the things they listed, actually.

um, not a doc, but couldnt that create a dependency for your body, reducing the amount of red blood cells, causing drastic problems? i mean it works the other way around right? people receive less oxygene during their traning so that their body creates more red blood cells, facilating oxygen flow.
That was stupid. There's already things like that in Scuba diving where you take oxygen enriched air. and guess what if you don't know how to use it, then you can get hurt.
