I have a question about the story: how did they both live for 1,000 years? Did Luna's banishment get commuted, did they both use time machines, or did God somehow allow them to live that long as part of their divine rights to rule? Is there something I'm missing?
@aycc-nbh72 They... didn't? They just delegated responsibility for a previously unspecified domain (friendship). Think of it like a feudal lord awarding a fiefdom. Celestia and Luna are still more important and they're going to be ruling indefinitely.
Mr. ZAP So does that mean Twilight (and possibly her descendants) will have power over that part of Equestria only rather than the entire kingdom? Also, what land did her family (the Friendships?) rule over before moving to Equestria, then? (Is Friendship the name of Twilight's royal house or the province she now governs?)
The title of Princess in Equestria simply doesn't translate well to how we normally think of a royal system. Each of them rules over the same land, but with different responsibilities.

That would explain why Cadence keeps her Princess title while only keeping control of the Crystal Empire, assuming it's a part of Equestria. This begs the question, though: other than Friendship and the Crystal Empire, what other provinces exist? (Canterlot probably gets its own region, though, as most countries I know of do not place the capital in any state/province or put it as its own, with Canada being a notable exception.) Also, why not just say "Governor Twilight" or "Governor Cadence", then?
@aycc-nbh72 It could be a title unique to Alicorns. I think the only surefire example of a governing position is Mayor. Twilight's influence clearly extends beyond Ponyville and sometimes into the Crystal Empire. Though I tend to think of that name as being just an honorary title at this point and assume that it has been annexed as a territory at the least, if not a province. Technically the Empire was conquered during a war after all, it just took a couple thousand moons before the resolution came about. It would be interesting if Cadence was only serving as a temporary figurehead until such time as a suitable crystal pony could take over. But then, given the sensitivity of the Empire and its dependency upon the crystal heart, Cadence is uniquely suited to keep things running there.

@CutTheRedWire Not really? It's pretty clear that Celestia and Luna are voluntarily abdicating and don't seem to expect to die anytime soon if at all. Maybe Celestia did have this in mind when she chose to start teaching Twilight, but I don't think she ever HAD to find a successor.

So, either way the pieces are set, Luna shouldn't be there, and if it were still Nightmare Moon, she'd have her being magically infused in the moon, and the Mare In The Moon pattern is the mark of her soul being trapped inside the moon's surface, not be alive, not be able to TALK in a vacuum, either, and, in general, NOT HAVE A REAL APPEARANCE THERE, WHATSOEVER. Well you see in Sailor Moon the main hero Usagi is the reincarnated Moon Princess and her protectors the Sailor Senshi are the reincarnated also from the past. And in the past there was a kingdom on the Moon and yes our Moon and it was ruled by Queen Serenity the mother of Princess Serenity but the Dark Kingdom the bad guys of the first arc of the series tried to take other the Earth and turn it into darkness and they practically succeeded and their next target was The Moon Kingdom. They killed everyone including The Moon Princess and her lover The Prince of the Earth. The Sailor Senshi tried to stop the bad guys but they were killed too so Queen Serenity used The Silver Crystal to seal the bad guys hoping that they won't break it and try to take over the world again. She also send her daughter and her lover and The Sailor Senshi and the Cat Advisors Luna and Artimus to the Earth of the future hoping that they will have good lifes reincarnated on the earth and then she died. But the Dark Kingdom did come back and tried to take over the world again but thanks to Sailor Moon who's is the reincarnated form of The Moon Princess and the Sailor Senshi who were also reincarnated defeated the Dark Kingdom and all the other villains. But you should definitely watch Sailor Moon it's much easier to find being just last year Viz Media acquired it including the new Sailor Moon anime series called Sailor Moon Crystal. So I would highly recommend it being it's such a good anime not many anime from the past get new anime series only a few anime that are significant to the fan base. I was like the way I am now with My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic a closet moonie but over time I met others who were fans of Sailor Moon and I began to be thankful for finding it. So I would highly recommend it and also if you want to see how it was when Dic Entertainment dubbed the show you can find it online and on YouTube but it was extremely censored and some episodes were either combined or skipped. Or when you get to Season 3 and 4 it was censored but not by much then before. But if you tried to find a english dub of the last season you wouldn't find anything because it wasn't dubbed it was completely skipped because of stuff in the season and the Sailor Senshi dieing in it. That last season will be dubbed by Viz Media they got everything related to Sailor Moon including Specials the movies with the mini movies. So this is a great time to either re watch the show in full or try to get into the show.
@EcAli GaminG my point is that like with My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic Sailor Moon was made originally for girls but males got into it because it has good and decent story and character development. And it does get darker as the story goes on. I understand how you feel I was exactly like you but I gave it a try and I liked it. Just try to watch an episode of it and see if you like it and keep an open mind with it.
But since the moon is actually about 380 000 km away from Earth, (I think) looking at Earth from the moon, it would actually only take up about 2 degrees of your entire vision when you look at it’s direction.

I love the quality and the idea, but the potential is just... lacking. its the same thing every time. you do something that pisses a pony off, and they attack you and/or do something that would kill you, along those lines.
Where's the writing? where's the creativity? You can go very, very far with this, but i haven't seen it (not have i seen 'my little dashie', due to inevitable feels and attention span, and im sure the quality is excellent and entertainment value wonderful, but i dont see that in any of your other videos.) I still like your videos very much, but like i said, it needs writing and creativity, not the same toilet humor with a different pony.

That would explain why Cadence keeps her Princess title while only keeping control of the Crystal Empire, assuming it's a part of Equestria. This begs the question, though: other than Friendship and the Crystal Empire, what other provinces exist? (Canterlot probably gets its own region, though, as most countries I know of do not place the capital in any state/province or put it as its own, with Canada being a notable exception.) Also, why not just say "Governor Twilight" or "Governor Cadence", then?
3 likes@aycc-nbh72 It could be a title unique to Alicorns. I think the only surefire example of a governing position is Mayor. Twilight's influence clearly extends beyond Ponyville and sometimes into the Crystal Empire. Though I tend to think of that name as being just an honorary title at this point and assume that it has been annexed as a territory at the least, if not a province. Technically the Empire was conquered during a war after all, it just took a couple thousand moons before the resolution came about. It would be interesting if Cadence was only serving as a temporary figurehead until such time as a suitable crystal pony could take over. But then, given the sensitivity of the Empire and its dependency upon the crystal heart, Cadence is uniquely suited to keep things running there.

1 like@CutTheRedWire Not really? It's pretty clear that Celestia and Luna are voluntarily abdicating and don't seem to expect to die anytime soon if at all. Maybe Celestia did have this in mind when she chose to start teaching Twilight, but I don't think she ever HAD to find a successor.

So, either way the pieces are set, Luna shouldn't be there, and if it were still Nightmare Moon, she'd have her being magically infused in the moon, and the Mare In The Moon pattern is the mark of her soul being trapped inside the moon's surface, not be alive, not be able to TALK in a vacuum, either, and, in general, NOT HAVE A REAL APPEARANCE THERE, WHATSOEVER. Fiction or not, it's supposed to be based on the show's cannonical story/magical abilities, and real world physics, which wouldn't allow anything like that. Understand?

Well you see in Sailor Moon the main hero Usagi is the reincarnated Moon Princess and her protectors the Sailor Senshi are the reincarnated also from the past. And in the past there was a kingdom on the Moon and yes our Moon and it was ruled by Queen Serenity the mother of Princess Serenity but the Dark Kingdom the bad guys of the first arc of the series tried to take other the Earth and turn it into darkness and they practically succeeded and their next target was The Moon Kingdom. They killed everyone including The Moon Princess and her lover The Prince of the Earth. The Sailor Senshi tried to stop the bad guys but they were killed too so Queen Serenity used The Silver Crystal to seal the bad guys hoping that they won't break it and try to take over the world again. She also send her daughter and her lover and The Sailor Senshi and the Cat Advisors Luna and Artimus to the Earth of the future hoping that they will have good lifes reincarnated on the earth and then she died. But the Dark Kingdom did come back and tried to take over the world again but thanks to Sailor Moon who's is the reincarnated form of The Moon Princess and the Sailor Senshi who were also reincarnated defeated the Dark Kingdom and all the other villains. But you should definitely watch Sailor Moon it's much easier to find being just last year Viz Media acquired it including the new Sailor Moon anime series called Sailor Moon Crystal. So I would highly recommend it being it's such a good anime not many anime from the past get new anime series only a few anime that are significant to the fan base. I was like the way I am now with My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic a closet moonie but over time I met others who were fans of Sailor Moon and I began to be thankful for finding it. So I would highly recommend it and also if you want to see how it was when Dic Entertainment dubbed the show you can find it online and on YouTube but it was extremely censored and some episodes were either combined or skipped. Or when you get to Season 3 and 4 it was censored but not by much then before. But if you tried to find a english dub of the last season you wouldn't find anything because it wasn't dubbed it was completely skipped because of stuff in the season and the Sailor Senshi dieing in it. That last season will be dubbed by Viz Media they got everything related to Sailor Moon including Specials the movies with the mini movies. So this is a great time to either re watch the show in full or try to get into the show.

And it does get darker as the story goes on. I understand how you feel I was exactly like you but I gave it a try and I liked it. 1 likeI love the quality and the idea, but the potential is just... lacking. its the same thing every time. you do something that pisses a pony off, and they attack you and/or do something that would kill you, along those lines.
Where's the writing? where's the creativity? You can go very, very far with this, but i haven't seen it (not have i seen 'my little dashie', due to inevitable feels and attention span, and im sure the quality is excellent and entertainment value wonderful, but i dont see that in any of your other videos.) I still like your videos very much, but like i said, it needs writing and creativity, not the same toilet humor with a different pony.
