A Background Info: The main menu tracks were recorded in Dolphin Emulator using the Audio Dump feature as opposed to being an actual rip. The reason behind it is most of the tools I tried did not work with GameCube system music.
I have chosen the best audio options (LLE Recompiler with dumped ROM files) and doing some memory editing to increase the volume a bit and removing the loops to know the exact length of the music, it's all thanks to this breakdown which you can find here:

If there's a possibility of ripping sequenced GameCube music with good accuracy, I will be updating this video.
Man, the GameCube was such an awesome system that I never had the luxury of owning. When it comes to its game library (its volume), the variety of games available and their quality, the GameCube is the best Nintendo home console to date (excluding the Switch since it’s still being sold).
There’s this sense of whimsicality and experimentation with IPs both new and old that you don’t get with Nintendo nowadays, or at least very restricted. This was the era where Nintendo wanted to explore and innovate with probably their most competitive console. I mean, just look at that controller, it’s one of, if not, the best controller Nintendo’s ever manufactured.
I had the DS, Wii, 3DS and Wii U, and although I won’t for a second downplay the treasured memories I had with those consoles (especially since I met up and played with my friends), there was always this sense of mystery around this console to me, a world so foreign, yet alluring. I felt as though I missed out on a Nintendo that dipped their toe into the weird and wacky, without sacrificing their wholesomeness and reputation as a company. It’s such a shame if sold as low as it did...
I hope to one day own a GameCube along with a treasure trove of games, but until then, happy 20th anniversary to the purple lunchbox.
I remember when I was little I sometimes forgot to put in the disc in the Gamecube and the transition noise scared me so much I would run out the room if I forgot to put a disc in it lmaoo my brother and older cousin laughed at me for it.

Thanks for reading.
It was honestly surprising to learn the menu theme had two different versions. Not sure which one my GameCube has, I’ll have to check.

There's an easy way to check.
7 likesIf you have a pink "PRESS START", you got the old revision which plays version A. If it's purple, it plays version B music.
@3DSX Rips i have the PAL (EUR) black version, which version does it play?
0 likes@bennickss All PAL models play version B.

Can't blame you, the sfx sounds otherworldly. :p

You need to hold Z on 1 or 4 controllers to hear the other startups.
2 likesWait there's an A&B version!?

Yup, there is!
8 likesVersion A plays on NTSC GameCube revision 1.0
Version B plays on all revisions of PAL GameCube & NTSC GameCube revision 1.1/1.2
@3DSX RipsWell dang.
1 like@3DSX Rips what's the difference other than region?
0 likesListen closely to both versions and take a guess.
0 likesGotta say Version B sounds a lot better. Not just favouritism since I have a PAL (EUR) GameCube. It does.
