@Terry Jones or you know, you can still watch the anime because it's pretty well done and adapts a beloved manga series into anime very well all things considered. Reading it is always still an option especially for the parts that haven't been adapted yet but it's always up to the person to decide how to approach JJBA but either way I'm sure they'll enjoy it.

What he really says is "po ni tabun". The only thing is that "tabun" is not very articulated, and it will very easily sound like "town" if you read the subtitles while hearing it.
It is a principle of tricking the brain into hearing something else. Good examples for that are the misheard lyrics videos you can find on Youtube.
