Emp I watched this video when it first came out, and I loved it. I just revisited it tonight while talking with my GF about Neutral Response, to find out your video now mirrors the legacy, and it made me very happy. You're a good lemon.
I actually have memories of this. I would go to the Neutral Response video every day after school to see if the like/dislike ratio is balanced. If it wasn't (usually by 1 like/dislike) I would switch sides to maintain the balance. Then come back the next day, etc.
So I remember first seeing this video a year and a half ago, it was a good 75% like to 25% dislike. It was funny to see people trying to go for the same thing as the Neutral Response vid. But now I come back and sure enough, it has achieved the same perfect balance. It's funny how much satisfaction can be gained in simply pressing/unpressing the like and dislike button to keep things balanced, I see how the original keeps it going.

I can't fucking stand Material Design. It sounds good on paper (heh...), but in practice, people never use it consistently and you end up having NFI what's clickable and what's simpler coloured text.

That's generally how genuinely moral behavior happens. Any effort to make people behave in a sane or cooperative way, either though laws, etiquette, ideology, religion, philosophy, praise, blame, deception, or propaganda are all self defeating. Because they perpetuate competition and one-upmanship. A person who behaves in a manner prescribed to him by his culture as moral or polite doesn't give a rats ass about other people, except as far as they can inflate his ego. It's just a device to feel superior and secure. An action is only truly selfless when there is no reward for it outside of just doing it.

I watched this video and thought I would go have a look for myself. But I was surprised to have found out that I had already liked the video, possibly years ago. But, sadly, the balance of neutrality had been disturbed, so I partook in my civic duty and removed my opinion from the matter, hence restoring the balance once again.
I didn't know about the hovering over the bar to display the full number thing. I just went to go pay homage to Neutral Response and it was 6 votes heavy to the like side. I did my civic duty and added to the dislikes
I then came back 20 minutes and now it's only 1 vote heavy to the likes.

The single reason that the video has kept the balance for so long is because the content of the video itself is about famous neutrals from Futurama, otherwise people would not understand "the game" and pick up on it so easily.

Ok yeah i know pretty late to the party but, there was a video made on April 5 2009 titled "spongebobs asian moments" that video also had equal amount of likes and dislikes as well and i used to watch the video until he disabled the comments like around 2011ish and also disabled the like and dislike button then he enabled them again before disabling it again now only saying "like" and "dislike" with no numbers attached. It was one of the first neutral video that I have ever seen and was impressed as a kid, so yeah i can relate to this video quite a bit 😊

I feel like those people trying to replicate the original neutral response missed the point since the clip in the original was actually a neutral response, and not just some random clip of something.

2 likesI actually have memories of this. I would go to the Neutral Response video every day after school to see if the like/dislike ratio is balanced. If it wasn't (usually by 1 like/dislike) I would switch sides to maintain the balance. Then come back the next day, etc.
2 likesSo I remember first seeing this video a year and a half ago, it was a good 75% like to 25% dislike. It was funny to see people trying to go for the same thing as the Neutral Response vid. But now I come back and sure enough, it has achieved the same perfect balance. It's funny how much satisfaction can be gained in simply pressing/unpressing the like and dislike button to keep things balanced, I see how the original keeps it going.

I found a way to restore Old YouTube, but YouTube might be able to patch it.
Even though the lay out of Old YouTube's button is gone, we are still able to access the legacy Creator Studio. This brings you to the incomplete layout of the classic Creator Studio. While the older Creator Studio is far superior, this is not the message I have come from Weeaboo land to tell you. While on the Legacy Creator Studio, if you click on the YouTube button to return to the homepage, (The logo) it gives you legacy YouTube. I discovered this by going on my other account, but accidentally going to the OG Creator Studio, then used the Logo pathway to the main page.
This can be crucial to the fate of Neutral Response, and I recommend everyone try the method of the Legacy YouTube layout to restore the peace of Neutral Response.
