I think you answered a part of your question with the last screencap. While threads that are about Milky way mind their own business, they are often killed on sight. While EQG posters that are known for spamming other threads get zero to no repercussion.

After season 3, to get consistent personalities and arcs for our girls we had to give up the most valuable thing of all, hooves. When FiM turned to shit EQG was hitting its stride.

EQG has been better than MLP since 2016, haters just are in denial. I like Twilight, I just love Sunset Shimmer and Starlight Glimmer more.
