I trolled my classmates with this one, you can do it on the top level directory of an spare USB stick and plug it on the back of the computer they were using, explorer will keep crashing for no apparent reason, no matter if they try to open it or not, even My Computer/this PC will be broken (also works on FAT32/16)

Essentially you lock everyone out of that folder, including youself. Imagine if C:/ or C:/Windows were used for this...

Edit: Just put a .zip download and put the instructions as comment in the zip file.

Enderman Do a video with this and try to 1) Restart explorer.exe 2) remove the protection

Edit: It would be better if it had a password so at least the owner of that folder can have gui access (through explorer)

help windows explorer just endless crashes (sorry for my english)
EDIT: try to open "Run" (Win+R), then type "cmd" without brackets
Commands in cmd:
taskkill /f /im explorer.exe
rd /s "full path to your folder"
desktop.ini
In Notepad delete all content of desktop.ini, then save
Then return to cmd, and write:
explorer
Then empty the trash bin in explorer.
