I know this may be months old and such but PLEASE continue this ,I'd really love to see the possibilitys that were described ,cause this was by far the BEST fanfiction I've ever heard ever ,maybe you and the writer could work together to continue the story

I throughly enjoy this story but given my depressed state I would happily accept her affections regardless of what the future supposedly says. Because some of us truly deserve to be happy even if it’s temporary cuz I would make every single moment count.
It would be really,REALLY nice though. If we all got a series (lets say like 5 or so episodes/chapters at the least). On how things actually worked out for Alexander and Princess Mi Amore Cadenza,after that hectic,confusing (for Princess Cadenza at least anyway) and passionate as well Prom Night. I would have to go out on a limb here and say. That they both officially and publicly came out as a couple not all that long after that. I would have liked hearing everyone's reactions,(Princess Celestia,Shining Armor and Twilight Sparkle) after all of them learning about those two actually being a couple FINALLY. And them also making their relationship official and public as well. And since Princess Cadenza was supposedly her former Foal Sitter,about how Alex and Twilight interact with each other and eventually how he interacts with her friends also. How Alex reacts to eventually finding out about his Aunt Luna,what had actually happened to her and how she went off the handle and her ensuing horrendous transformation into the monstrous Nightmare Moon. And her fighting and then her being ultimately defeated by Celestia,her very own sister. And Luna's 1,000 years of being banished to the moon afterwards by Celestia,with the aide of The Elements Of Harmony (TEOH). And how Alex and Luna interact with each other,after first meeting each other after her return. How Luna reacts to/thinks of Alex after learning that Celestia has basically adopted and treats him as her ACTUAL son/foal. That he is BASICALLY her adopted nephew. How she also reacts to Alex actually being in a romantic relationship with her niece. And how Alex and his Aunt Luna's relationship developed after that. And I will also say that Alex and Princess Cadenza also for sure got married sometime later on (seeing as how they seemed to love each other so much). And I would have also liked to know if Alex marrying Princess Cadenza actually made him a Prince/royalty,even if it was only by marriage. How his wedding day went and if the Changelings had crashed his as well. Like they did Shining Armor's and Princess Cadenza's,in the original/cannon timeline of MLP. And also how Princess Cadenza dealt with the eventual and inevitable issue/desire of her wanting to have children and HIGHLY likely not actually being able to. As I am thinking that she could not actually have children together with Alex. Through normal reproductive means like her and Shining Armor did originally,because of the species difference between her and Alex. Unless she decided to officially adopt some children instead or got creative and used some sort of magic or something to bypass that issue somehow. And that it allowed her to somehow be able to actually conceive and then have her own (normal and perfectly healthy) biological children successfully with Alex.
Whoa, the author REALLY loves to end their adverbs with -ly. Like, SO many of those in this fic. Sometimes several in rapid succession. Holy smokes. o_o

There is more to Alex and Cadence's story apparently (the author himself said so). The sequel to "Nothing is Set In Stone" is called "The Alicorn Instinct" if I am remembering its name correctly.
But seriously though,the MC Alex was actually a pretty big jackass in this story. If he really and truly wanted Princess Mi Amore Cadenza to be with Shining Armor,like she was supposed to be in the original/cannon timeline. His first and possibly biggest mistake was letting Princess Cadenza spend too much time with him and letting her get too close and intimate to/with him as well. Like him taking care of and then stripping topless and laying in bed with her while she was sick,after she asked him to stay with her for example. That request SHOULD have been met with an IMMEDIATE "NO,Princess Cadenza. Because that wouldn't be very appropriate of me to do." And he also should have refused to even take care if her in the friggin' first place as well. The next big mistake that he made was him asking to dance with her at their prom night. And then him slipping up after blocking her from kissing him. And telling her that he could never have her,no matter how much it hurt him inside. Because that MAJOR league fuck up right there,confirmed to Princess Cadenza that Alex actually did have romantic feelings for her. He just should have told her "Why? Its simply because we are just friends. And that's ALL that we will ever be Princess Cadenza." He really should have never even asked to dance with her in the first place honestly. And if she asked him instead,then he should have just simply refused her offer (politely if at all possible) and then just walked away. Leaving the prom and going back home to the palace after that preferably. And then the next mistake was when he ran into Celestia in the palace after leaving the party. And him just simply blowing her off and not actually telling her what was really going on,talking to her about what he knew and what had happened with Princess Cadenza at the Prom. He should have just came out and told her that yes. Something was indeed very,very wrong and that they both really,REALLY needed to talk about something that was very serious and HIGHLY important as well. That he needed her input/advice on some things,but that she had to promise to keep Princess Cadenza away from him as well. At ALL costs and that he would also explain to Princess Celestia why he wanted her to do so during their talk. And he also should have NEVER EVER opened that damned door when Princess Cadenza showed up at outside his room later and let her inside either. Let alone let her know that he was even there in the friggin' first place. He should have just remained silent and just let her think that he was not actually there. Because after he once opened that door for and let her in,it was basically a permanent GAME OVER. With no extra lives and no resets at that point. He should have asked Princess Celestia if he could go to and sleep in another room far away from his own room for the night.
