I honestly often thought that the Crystalbright house was mainly just meant to replace Sunny's old lighthouse, but i think you might be right about the rainbow beacon serving a much bigger purpose Sawtooth, because like you said the rainbow beacon could also be a way to guide other creatures in Equestria specifically guide them to Maretime Bay in fact now i'm hoping that turns out to be the case because i'm still hoping we see other creatures in the 2D series.

i actually kinda hoped that the lighthouse would be like Twilight's castle, that after the crystals had been activated the right way, the lighthouse would become some sort of castle like Twilight's

I just realized the shapes of each tribe’s crystal really fit them. The unicorn crystal is meant to look like a unicorn horn, the Pegasus crystal is meant to look like a pair of wings, and the earth pony crystal looks like it could either represent a hoof print or a planet, bringing in their connection to the land.

This is the best Pony Theory channel in existence.

I’m wondering if Sunnis father, Argile, became aware to the crystals existence during his research into the past. We know that Argile was a talented inventor of some sorts. Maybe he made the same mistake Sunny did and assumed that reunited the three crystals was all that was needed to restore magic to equestria and redesigned the light house to incorporate the crystals.

Or maybe... The light they give off is what gives the ponies their power? Perhaps the rainbow is spread across Equestria and that is what powers the pegasi and unicorns, perhaps if the lighthouse was destroyed again then all the ponies would loose their magic... If this is right, maretime bay will be in a lot of trouble if any villains come by...

I'm excited to see ponies rediscover their magic. Pegasi learning about their control over weather, unicorns learn spells related to their talents, or relearning spells like teleportation or gem finding like Rarity. Earth pony strength and plant magic. It'd be so cool to see it explored in more Depth.

In FiM magic was just a thing that was there. Now we have the chance to discover and learn about it with the cast!

My theory is that the crystal bright house is like the tree of harmony and is meant to protect and the crystals were made from the shards of the elements of harmony

Can I just say how weird it is that I thought of something similar? Earlier today I rewatched flurry hearts crystalling and for some reason I thought:"What if the gen 5 crystals are linked to the crystal empire?". At first I thought it didn't make sense but then I thought:"Wait, the crystal heart got repaired and ' crystalized' the ponies after , so what if the crystals worked similar to this?". I'm happy that this video came out with a similar idea

I love the crystals fit together. The Pegasus crystal is the wings, the unicorn crystal is the horn, and the earth pony crystal is the heart/core

This was really cool to watch! The comparison between the pony crystals and the Crystal Heart was especially interesting. The pegasus crystal even sort of resembles the Crystal Heart in shape and color. I wonder if the Crystal Heart is still around in the G5 era…

I believe your right on what the lighthouse purpose was and still is. Though what I’d like to know is what happened to the other places that did something similar, like the crystal empire and twilight’s castle. The empire represented love and connections with one another and the castle represented friendships and harmony as a whole. So were they destroyed or perhaps lying dormant until someone come to reignite the magic they hold?

I always thought the lighthouse notch was just supposed to be symbolic, like a symbol for unity. Never would've thought of anything like this. Great work as always Sawtooth.

I can see the three tribes crystals on top of the blight house, we can see rainbow below this, so it can’t be possible for the crystals to be giving this light, right?

While watching your theory about the lighthouse, it just came to me that maybe the rainbow beacon is just like how it was for the song at the end of season 4 of G4. Remember?
"Let the rainbow remind you,
that together we will always shine.

Let the rainbow remind you,
that forever this will be your time."

Now, maybe the crystals and the lighthouse are meant to be a beacon and reminding them of how much friendship shines all around Equestria. So everyone remembers the friendships that the Mane 6 have made and (as Izzy said) the sparkle that shines inside them.

personally, i don't think the crystals were always kept together, for the same reason washington dc wasn't made a state, mareintine bay was seemingly an earth pony capital city so to speak, so having all of the crystals keep there could be interpreted as earth ponys putting themselves on top, so the crystals were probably regularly brought to the light house in some sort of festival

The thing about the new lighthouse is that it itself is a symbol of light and harmony in the new era (A New Generation)

imagine the light house was made from twilight, and that it was meant so that when the crystal is placed it would act as an a amplifier and increasing the magical property's and giving the tribe's there magic back but with maybe with little boost.

I have a theory: the light house and the crystals made a pony light on the walls so I think that twilight made the crystals and maybe even the lighthouse to show how much harmony the past had and give ponies motivation to move back together if they ever separated and then twilight made the crystals inspired by the elements of harmony and hid them to stop evil from destroying them and when putting together the crystals they would make a rainbow thing in the sky so everypony knows that they were put back together and did something.

Sawtooth, I think you might be right. I have always wondered what it was like before the crystals were separated. And what the purpose of the lighthouse was and maybe now that was its purpose. I hope we get to see that in the series when it starts next month.

Maybe the reason the light house wasn't shown active in the poster was because the crystals were never actually used. It was clear that Sunny's father was something of an outcast because of his beliefs, and also quite the tinkerer, using the earth pony crystal in his possession to create Sunny's night light.
My guess is that he built the new lens (or modified an existing one) with the intention of using all three crystals together but he was never able to get the other two.
Why he never explained that plan to Sunny is another mystery, though. My best guess is he died before she was old enough to understand.

I Honestly thought that the light house was for sunny like twilights old tree house but I feel like it was what the ponys build to keep the crystals save from the magic that was lost. We never got to know why or how the magic just magically poof out of existence.

Anyone else just admiring how nice the bow sawtooth has? It looks wonderful. I love this theory, I'd love to discuss it! Although, I don't have much to say. So, to still have a conversation, (a hopefully interesting one as well) I'd like to present a mystery/question with no satisfying answer.(Also forgot his name) Sunny star scout's father. Why bring him up? He knows things, he KNEW things. Things no one else did. He knows the mane 6, he knows everything fell apart, he seemly knew about the crystal as implied by the lighthouse's "special asset." How does he know such things? He seems to know things only ponies from that time would. Stories passed down in his family? Perhaps. However, I'd like to suggest my own theory. He is, none other than..A CHANGELING! Explanation you may ask for, and I'll gladly say. Where are all the other creatures? It wasn't only the three pony types combined! It was every creatures, changeling, hippogriphs, griffins, dragons, discord, etc. I do not know where all of them went, but I'll tell you one thing...most of not all of these live for a long and I mean long time. Only, and only, two of all the previously mentioned (and non mentioned) have the ability to change forms. Discord and Changelings. Discord doesn't seem to be able to die, even when stripped of his magic he lives. (No one attempted to kill him then but my point still stands) He is literally chaos itself. Chaos cannot be destroyed only created. Chaos will always be there no matter the form or the impact. (It could also be theorized that he's discord but that's not the point right now.) As for changelings, it can assumed they live for quite the long time. Eg: Queen Chrisolis (Never knew how to spell her name) and Thorax. She supposedly lived for centuries or so, from her first appearance to her last was quite the while. Of course she had to grown up beforehand so it's likely she's terrorized Equestria before. Moving ahead to Thorax, if you go back to his earliest known appearance, it's clear to see he was fully grown during the attack on Canterlot. (When he's telling his story I believe they show him there) Years into the future (9th season) nearly everyone in years passed has gone on. (RIP) Most of the children are grown up and the mane 6's has grown old. It is obvious that any years have gone by. It is unlikely that the changelings had gotten a new leader. (If I recall we did see him near the end of the last episode, though I do not recall it very clearly.) As such, it'd seem changelings can live up to a few hundred years at the least. Why did he take such a form? Well, who'd want to live with a changeling if everyone lost unity? It is unknown whom the mother of sunny is but I do have doubt it is another changeling. It would make sunny full changeling which seemly, is not true. I do not know the wholes this leaves, but this is where I end this. I do have 1 more thing to say though. What if everyone or rather all the ponies who knew, were executed in a great war or just war. Perhaps it wasn't only the ponies whom were targeted. Maybe changelings survived by turning into objects? It may be why all the rest of the creatures aren't around. I'd presume discord was in his dimension at the time, but I do not know. That is where I leave you, have a lovely day/night.

Great theory Sawtooth! But I also wanted to point out was that whenever the mane 6 powered up with the elements of harmony, a rainbow shot out of them too, showering the enemies with the rainbow, reforming them- putting them to stone- etc. I feel like the new crystals, bring that same energy. Like an enemy repellent, or something. The bright house may not surround enemies with rainbows, but we don’t know that yet. But it still gives off the rainbow effect, and the unity effect. I don’t know for sure, but I feel like this could be another track to this train ride that you could take into account.

Something I've wondered recently: why did Chrysalis' magic work in her hive, right next to the throne in S6, when it didn't work in S9 when they used the shards from it to block the ponies' magic?

Crazy theory time the three crystals are made up of what's left of the Crystal Heart and the Elements of Harmony.

Can we all agree that they never disappoints us with their contant and they posts videos for us and they always makes our day or night even better

we need an analysis of crystals in equestria. from the crystal empire and ponies to twilights castle and the elements, they are every where and they all have something to do with channelling, containing or distributing the different kinds of magic. this brings up some interesting questions about their properties in worlds and I'd love to see some theories :)

While the 3 lost herds were retreating south from the wendigos, they tried to craft a repellent for the wendigos. The artifact and the heavens had other ideas. The lighthouse armed with the intact crystal worked ok, but it attracted all sorts of magical creatures. The 3 herds performed a ritual that banished all magic and broke the crystal. Since then the map has sent various characters to try to steer them in the right direction, with mixed results. This is all my headcanon.

tbh i think the first lighthouse was just suppose to "hold the crystals" since perhaps the dad assumed physically putting them together would bring magic back. the new one is just the pretty version in case they make a playset outta it imao

Well the crystal heart if you think about it could resemble harmony. It needs the crystal ponies for it to work. Like the elements of harmony and the mane 6 or Celestia and Luna. The crystal ponies need to work in harmony with the heart so it can work.

I was thinking it would be like when Twilight put Star Swil's diary on the rock and showed the past 'cause of the magic or something like that lol.

Recently released concept arts confirm that old lighthouse was meant be to shooting that rainbow into the sky originally. After the script changed, it was destroyed before it could do that.

It's interesting how the names of the ponies in G5 usually have little to do with the pony's eventual cutie mark // what they do. They seem to have less guidance than the G4 ponies did.

I just have a random question; What ever happened to the other Alicorns? Did they put their magic in the crystals as well, or are they just hiding somewhere doing whatever they do now? Cadence and Flurry Heart are more than likely at the Crystal Empire still, but we never know where Celestia/Luna flew off to (aside from them resigning). I don't have any theories in mind, but they could have stayed closer to the statued villains so they can defeat the three again. Either way, I hope we find out some way! :3 Have a good Day/Night! :3

the shape of the lighthouse is like the unicorn horns
the light houses' base is a circle like the hooves of earthponies
and the purpose is to help the ships move around/transport like how wings help Pegasus move around easier
the crystals might've needed to come together in the lighthouse which shouldn't just be a coincidence if you consider what it looks like
and unicorn horns usually emit magical beams like how there is a rainbow beam shooting upwards in the crystal brighthouse

I think I figured out the crystal in G5, so if anyone watched rainbow road trip there was this rainbow generator that was passed down to this mayor who looks oddly like sunny's dad too, the rainbow generator sent off rainbow colors like the new lighthouse which the colors are generated by the crystals, I think thats where they came from

The crystal heart or the elements only shot rainbows when they were activated so the crystals must be activated all the time as you stated in one of your videos that the ponies now depend on the crystals for the magic Though the crystal heart contains the magic of the crystal ponies the crystals don't

Going back to when you talked about how the magic in Equestria and the human world were reaching equilibrium 50/50 and how that is why magic may have depleted. I might have a comeback to that hypothesis. I was thinking about Discord and how crazy he is and everything and then it hit me. wouldn't he have felt an imbalance in the magical energy like he was able to do when Lord Tirek was taking magic? If so why did he not do anything about it? I would only think he would let this happen to throw Chaos into both worlds.

Personally, I think that the crystals are an artificial replacement to the lost pony magic. I believe that some kind of disaster happened in the past that robbed the ponies of their magic. However, the ponies weren’t able to successfully retrieve the original stolen magic. Since Equestria still needed magic to function and survive (the day/night cycle, changing the weather, growing crops, etc.), the rulers of Equestria hatched a plan to gather a large amount of natural magic present in the world and focused it down into three crystallized forms. With these new crystals, the ponies would be able to use the artificial/worldly magic to replace their original magic and keep Equestria functional. However, the new source of magic wasn’t enough to sustain the immortality of the Alicorns and they eventually died off. With the Alicorns gone, the three tribes started blaming each other and eventually divided. This division also tore apart the crystals that were likely being powered/activated by friendship. My theory is a bit too long and complex to go over all the details, but I leave you with the cornerstone of my theory. Remember how in g4 the magic of a pony was the generally the same color as their iris? That (at least to me) signified that the pony’s magic was a part of them. Their magic was somehow an extension of their being, and that it was more than likely created within them. However, Izzy in the new Tell Your Tale series has a rainbow colored magical aura. This is a much bigger detail than I think people realize. The rainbow color of Izzy’s magic doesn’t match her eyes, but it does match the rainbow power of the three crystals. This, to me, says that Izzy’s magic is coming from/being generated by the crystals rather than being made inside her. I also don’t think this can be chalked up as simply a visual flair either. It takes a lot more effort to animate rainbow magic than it would be to simply have it be one static color. The creative team were actively making more work for themselves by giving her rainbow magic. Nobody would’ve batted an eye if her magic was the same color as her eyes since that’s how it worked in g4. However, they intentionally made more work for themselves by making a visual change that doesn’t align with g4. Why would they do this? There has to be something deeper to it than just a visual change. Before anybody says it, I know there were g4 characters that had magic that was a different color than their eyes, but those were usually for very specific reasons like Celestia being connected to the sun or Sunset having spent time in an alternate reality. It doesn’t make sense for Izzy to have such a drastic change. However, I am willing to concede that maybe Izzy is just super special and has rainbow colored magic, but what if it’s not just her? If we see other unicorns in Tell Your Tale have rainbow colored magic, then I will be convinced that I’m on to something. If all unicorns have rainbow magic, then they must not be getting from one common source (the crystals) and they must not be generating it themselves anymore. The only reason I can think of as to why this would be the case is if there’s a fundamental difference between the magic of g4 and the magic of g5. Every time magic was stolen in g4, the magic users maintained their original magic aura colors when they eventually got their original magic returned. If the unicorns of g5 have their magic returned to them in a similar way, then why wouldn't their magic still be the same color as their eyes? I’m probably way of the mark here, but I sincerely believe that there’s something more going on here than meets the eye. So to anyone out there who disagrees with my theory, let me ask you one question? Why do you believe Izzy (and possibly all of the other g5 unicorns) have rainbow colored magic instead of magic that matches their eyes? I’m genuinely curious as to what the rest of you are thinking.

Here's an idea, what if her father purposely made his lighthouse into a beacon? He probably made it so the crystals could activate? He did have a lot of information on how ponies used to live together.

Just to be a fact in my school vr game it was the ground zero of the gigaverse and a pretty common boss fight arena the most notable time it's used is in the mission called a living fussion where ( the gigaverse is every dimension combined even the different franchises ) you need to fight dark samus from metroid kratos and artaeus from god of war then after dark samus is half health samus aren from metroid showed up and trys to take you out ultimately it ended with goalius pinned to the thing by kratos leviathan axe and atreaus dragon shock arrows and then kratos yanked the top on goalius ( the slam on the head is a reference to the god of war 2018 mini bosses the trolls where there glory kills are kratos on there shoulders stab in the head and slam there weapon on the head the only troll that's different is the one in helhem where he blocks it but kratos with his blades of chaos breaks the weapon and stabs the guy in the head and then preform heart surgery) and once that done it's soon revealed that Goalius had the crystal heart as the crystal empire is restored goalius was given it to revive there guardian named omega supreme who's from transformers anyways after the hearts exposed goalius fired it off like a the bfg 10k from doom eternal and the heart is there but not the boss shattered glass ultras well head ( it's like that atom smasher russia all over again)

@Sawtooth Waves Can you explain to me why Twillight from the Human-World does have wings when she "Pony-Up" and doesn't have wings when she is in Equestria? Twillight from Equestria and Rainbow Dash from Human-World on the other hand has wings in both worlds.

I've noticed and I've been puzzling over it that when ever twilight is trapped she never used teleportation to be free....except the she was trapped near the crystal heart but the time tempest locked her she try to escape and I am pretty sure that the cage was made of iron

honistly, if your not already makeing a video on this, i want to know what ever happend to the other races, like dragons or changelings? we know a lot of mythical beings in equestra are connected to magic in a roundabout way as we see when cosyglow stole all the magic and twilight used the remaining magic within these beings to open the door. but in G5 all magic was forgotten and disapered until the 3 artifacts came together. we dont see any other creture anywhere in the 2d or 3d adaptations even though twilight and her freands got all these other races to live in harmony with eachother. its fair to say the reson the 3 pony races split like they used to be in anchent equestria was also the same reson all the other races split up like they where befor twilight. if at some point after twilights rein ended something happen to all the natral magic in the world than perhaps it might be posible these mythical beings no longer exist. all the magic that we have seen thus far is derived from the crystals which could be a mix between the shards of the elements and the crystal heart so there is no longer magic in the air natualy and needs to be suplamented through objects. we know magic could have been taken thanks to cosyglow and tirek and if that magic was taken than there stone prison might be dispelled. so the magic could have taken by someone who wanted to free the evil trio, who this could be i dont know, perhaps a new villon the new ponys will have to face, id like to see the new guys fight the 3 the main 6 couldnt reform along with a new face to tie it all together. or even they find evedence of who took all the natral magic only to find that the one who did it did not know all magical beings would be lost along with it and so they and the evil trio ended up ending themselfs in there revenge plan. i dont know, id like to see the other races come back to eqestria and even see some old faces good or bad. i now dragons live a vary long time and ember and smolder were a teens last we saw them so perhaps they servived all this time, although i doubt they will make an apperence becuse we know alicorns live a long time too sence celestia lived much longer than 1000 years and was still at a hight of power when she retierd and luna might last even longer as being traped in the moon might have stoped her ageing, i mean nighmare moon looked the exact same befor and after being put in a moon for 1000 years, than again so did calestia so idk. not to mention twilight who is an easy 1000+ years younger than them, and adding the fact flurry heart exists alicorns should have made a reapperence but they didnt, so i can only think of 2 posibilitys for that. 1 is the one i just explaned, they dissapered when all natral magic did. or G5 takes place not 1000 years not 10,000 years but a posible 100,000 years or more after G4, when all alicorns being vary rare and only one case being natraly born probably died off, even with there abnormaly long life span. personaly i like the former becuse it give the creators oprotunity to bring these aspects of the world without damaging contanuity, just bring natral magic back somehow and boom, world building events start to happen. sorry for my long rant here just something i have been thinking about and kinda spiraled out of control, if you are reading this than id love to see your thoughts on this and what you think happened to all the non-pony creaturs of the world. thanks

Party Cannon (my daughter) says, we think we know how Sunny became an alicorn. But maybe we don't. Maybe Sunny is related to Twilight . We know that it is possible for Sunny to be an earth pony and Twilight to be an alicorn because the Cakes had twins a pegasus and unicorn, though they were earth pony parents. Mr Cake explained this by saying "easy my great great great great grandfather was a unicorn and cupcakes great aunts second cousin twice removed was a pegasus". It was probably a regular light house but Argyle had planned for it to be used in the way the bright house is in chance that the other 3 crystals were found, like it was a functioning lighthouse but argyle added in the slot (?) for the gems to go into for the future

If I had a nickel for everytime magical crystals came together to make a new crystal building of what was destroyed in my little pony, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice.

Possibly the lighthouse was a proper lighthouse before sunny father bought the property and decided to modify it so it could work like we see in tell your tale. Maybe with the purpose that your describe of making the different races of ponies find maretime bay. But because he only had one of the crystals he was unable to activate it.

Considering that sunny didn’t knew about a crystal of earth ponies maybe her father didn’t told her about the function of the lighthouse. Either that or he wrote it down so sunny can read it but she never bothered to check his notes.

Either way, probably sunny decided to read whatever document remained from her house and found out about the objective of the lighthouse and decided to rebuild it.

logical reason why the rainbow beam wasn't in the poster: the ponies at maretime bay had a copyright on the lighthouse simular to the copyright france has with the eiffel tower, where you can't post any pictures of it if its under certain conditions, for the eiffel tower, its when it has its lights on at night, i'd imagine this is the case with the lighthouse, where you can't post pictures of the rainbow beacon coming out of it

Yeah, I see these crystals as a major plot hole considering this new series is the official sequel to MLP Friendship is Magic.
To me they bring up more questions like

Where were they in Friendship is Magic?

If these are the new Elements of Harmony were are the old ones? Based on how this series is set up, it seems like we are so far in the future. Sad as it may be that even with Alicorn magic Twilight my have died of old age along with her friends long before her.

Why during the periods of time when the three pony tribes didn't live in harmony, did the crystal's magic not affect all them, like we see it do in the first chapter of the new series?

I think the Crystals repair the lighthouse that Sprout had destroyed.It's a very shady theory but we have seen magic move destruction from evil magic and chaos. And I think the rainbow shooting up the lighthouse is supposed to represent Rainbow Dash's rainbow trail when she dashes ahead.

I have a crazy theory. After hearing light house guides and how many people believe that twilight split the magic from the ponies. What if - Just what if, the light house was an indicator?

This theory has literally zero holes and, not only that, but it also got me thinking. If the lighthouse was designed for that function, Wouldn't make sense that the ones who lived in it dedicated their life in persuit of harmony's restoration in Equestria? Maybe, Argyle Starshine was more than just a researcher. Maybe his ancestors, up to that point, did their best to bring harmony back. that would explain why he, of all ponies, had the earth ponies' crystal? The same pony who lived in the only place designed to host all three crystals and spread their combined light. I think it's no mere coincidence. The theory makes more sense now that I think about it.

The Crystal Heart consisted of power from all 3 tribes (Earth Pony, Unicorn, and Pegasus), because all of which were used to power the crystal heart.

Each of the elements consisted of power coming from the 3 tribes too, because:
Twilight - Unicorn/Alicorn
Rarity - Unicorn
FlutterShy - Pegasus
Rainbow Dash - Pegasus
Pinkie Pie - Earth Pony
AppleJack - Earth Pony
(2 ponies per tribe) Plus we know that the elements were meant to bring harmony. Harmony meaning unity. Unity between all 3 tribes. So I agree

Hey I have a random theory, I don’t know if it has been said before, if it has I apologize, but you know how the crystal empire disappeared for 1000 years?

What if something similar happened in the time between the end of G4, and G5?

It’s quite a long shot, but maybe that’s why we haven’t seen any other races besides ponies in G5, and perhaps how they’ve become so divided.
Perhaps it happened before the loss of magic, or this is all just random nonsense, but I thought it might be an interesting thought.

Maybe the beacon function was never activated, but simply put in place ready to be shined into the sky when the time was right...

The shape and color of the pegasus gem makes me wonder if it was originally carved out of the Crystal Heart. Entertaining that theory, where would the other gems come from, though? And why would the Crystal Heart only do pegasus magic? Oh well.

The Pegasus segment of the Harmony crystal is the same color and size-ish to the Crystal Heart. What if the Crystal Heart was carved into the Pegasus piece?

I just thought the lighthouse didn't do anything or just kept them there.

What if the previous lighthouse. Wasn't something that gave off the crystals power but instead. Was actually tied to the origin of the crystals. What if the lighthouse was used to make or funnel the power into the crystals.

Hence why there wasn't any promotional material for it. Maybe it was a lighthouse that was retrofitted into making the crystals

As we can see, the crystals together seem.. a lot bigger, almost as big as.. t crystal heart. We don’t know what twilight made the crystals out of and the Crystal heart was the only other extremely powerful relic that was a crystal (that we know of obviously) it would also explain why we don’t ever see the crystal empire.. because it’s not protected just the crystal heart anymore so.. it’s gone

I do believe that the crystal heart and the tribes crystals are exactly the same but I do have a theory as to how this came to be. We have to remember what happened at the end of the original generation 5. While we see the shadow of the main six being left behind to the new generation. Rarity as a unicorn might have had a slightly longer lifespan then Earth ponies and Pegasus ponies because well yeah unicorn magic. In that time she might have passed on some of her crystal knowledge not only to her friend spike but also twilight. What is with the knowledge that rarity had about crysyals and their way to channel magic sparked a idea in twilight. She is a magic user after all and learning more from the archives of magical artifacts combined with crystals? Twilight might have used a spell with her student starlight and sunburst 2 of the most powerful uniforms of their time to make the tribes crystals

Theory: The Twilight that is shown in Mark Your Mark isn't our Twilight Sparkle... It's the Spirit of Harmony. The Spirit took the form of Twilight Sparkle to talk to the young six, so why couldn't it do that again, but with Sunny and them? Light Twi (Lighthouse Twilight) spoke about Earth pony magic, saying that it had never been activated before. But then... how would Twilight even know about it if it was never activated, and therefore, never really existed to anyone? The Spirit could talk to the young six, sharing real-time things, which would explain how Light Twi knew of the new real-time development. Plus, why not pick the pony who would be most respected and known, as shown with Sunny and Zipp who both shared about her history, with even the window setting showing her cutie mark?

I'm honestly thinking that the color of the tribe's crystals is important too. Think about it: the unicorn crystal is a bright magenta, just like Twilight Sparkle's magic. The pegasus crystal is blue, just like Rainbow Dash. The earth pony crystal is white, and I know that neither Applejack or Pinkie Pie had white on them, but I have a theory.

Pinkie Pie's cutie mark was yellow and blue balloons, and her eyes were blue. Applejack had a red cutie mark. I think the earth pony crystal is meant to represent a mix of the two. Pinkie Pie, if she did have a horn, I'm willing to bet her magic would be blue. It wouldn't make any sense for her magic to be a reddish color, as that would be too much from a design standpoint. Yellow also doesn't fit right, so blue makes the most sense. As for Applejack, I'm putting my money on somewhere between yellow and green. After all, her color scheme is mostly orange and yellow, but her eyes are green, and there's a bit of green on her cutie mark. So with color influence all over the place and both Applejack and Pinkie Pie having little to no abilities that are confirmed as magic (Pinkie Pie's weirdness doesn't count), so it makes sense that the earth point crystal would be white.

In other words, I think the crystals are meant to represent mane six. I'd even go so far as to say that the crystals might contain some of the magic fron each one. Rarity and Fluttershy, the only two not clearly represented, aren't as skilled as Twilight and Rainbow Dash in what counts as magic for their tribe, and it seems that Pinkie Pie and Applejack are equally represented.

what about non-ponies and if the mirror to another world was a portal between the past/future, the tree of harmony modified it. but now no longer is? This explains why pony/non-pony relics in the human world don't seem old like dirt on them, and the storm king magic combined with the modified portal.

Can you do a video about what would have happened if we saw the CMC with their special_somepony in the MLP FIM show like Applebloom X Tender_Taps, Sweetie_Belle X Button_Mash and Scootaloo X Rumble?

1) The first Lighthouse was probably something Sunny's ancestors built to not just make their family happy, but maybe to honor what was forgotten from Equestria because the way the movie made it look like it, maybe Sunny's family were archeologists who were taken for granted for everything they did due to the ponies dividing.
2) The 3 crystals were probably created by the Tree of Harmony as a last possible hope to reunite the 3 tribe.
3) The new light house was probably created by the mane 5 and maybe even their kind to honor what they brought back to Equestria.
4) Have you ever thought about making a video about asking who the g5 characters might be related to from g4? The way it seems like it so far it seems like Izzy Moonbow might be a direct bloodline descendant of Pinkie Pie do to her current personality. He replaced the Original Mechanism with one, that would match the Form of the Three Crystals combined and the globe should transfer the Light to project it in a special Direction... but maybe not directly in the Sky like in the Cartoon Lighthouse.
Maybe it should show a very special Direction, a Direction to a special Place.
I cannot say what place this might be, maybe the ruins of old Canterlot, maybe the way to the long lost Crystal Empire... or maybe the Resting place of Twilight and her Friends or the place of the original Tree of the Elements?
The possibilities are endless.
But, there is also another reason why the rainbow light shines like a beacon to the sky and not in a special Direction. You spoke about the Pegasus that would see the light... but what is with all the other Creatures that were friends with Equestrians once?
Wouldn't the Griffons, Hippo Griffons, Dragons, Changelings, YakYaks, Kirin, Frost Giants (MLP The Movie) and Buffallos also see the Light? (YakYaks only if the Weather is clear in the north xD )

Maybe, just maybe, the crystals were made by Flurry Heart? She does seem like the right option. Plus, her aunt is Twilight Sparkle... she would have the brains and maybe the magic for it. Flurryheart's mane is blue, purple, and pinkish. The crystals are blue, purple, and white... maybe there is a connection. Colors seem to mean a lot in artifacts. And also, we have the princess of the sun, moon, love and friendship. Maybe Flurryheart was the princess of Light. That would make sense why the crystals were put in the LIGHThouse.
