I'm so slow. I just noticed every one of the mane 6 has the corresponding colour for their element somewhere on them. Twilight is literally the same colour as Magic just about everywhere Applejack's coat is orange Pinkie Pie's cutie mark has blue Fluttershy's mane is pink Rarity's mane is purple Rainbow Dash has red in her mane and cutie mark I'm definitely not the first to notice this.
