1999: CD Garden of Delights 035
Enregistré en direct à Cologne en 1972 pour la radiodiffusion...... Bien que cet album n’ait jamais été officiellement publié à l’époque, cela devrait être le deuxième album de Gila, et même s’il n’a été joué que comme une émission de radio, toutes les chansons étaient toutes nouvelles et n’étaient pas disponibles sur les deux autres albums. Une fois de plus, nous pouvons remercier le grand label Garden Of Delights d’avoir officiellement sorti ce grand album au public. Malheureusement, ce n’est pas un album studio, donc le son n’est pas parfait, mais il est assez bon compte tenu des conditions et de l’histoire compliquée des bandes.
Cet album est un véritable joyau si vous aimez le psych / prog rock et confirmez la réputation de Gila en tant que Pink Floyd de l’Allemagne (beaucoup plus qu’Eloy ne le sera jamais), mais selon Floyd, vous devez comprendre la période avant DSOTM. Oui, ce sont des chansons à tempo moyen qui permettent un grand changement d’humeur et de nombreuses interactions instrumentales semi-improvisées, tandis que les paroles sont généralement suffisamment ouvertes pour permettre une flexibilité. La plupart des chansons ressemblent à des versions étendues de la bande originale de Floyd’s More et vous pouvez facilement glisser dans le ciel avec doobie à votre disposition.
Après cet album, Veit formera Popol Vuh, mais reviendra avec Fichelscher et Florian Fricke pour enregistrer le prochain album concept de Wounded Knee sur le massacre organisé du peuple américain. Pendant ce temps, cette sortie posthume est considérée comme un album à part entière de Gila et exactement à égalité avec les deux albums historiques. Snimljen uživo u Kölnu 1972 za radijski prijenos......Iako ovaj album u to vrijeme nikada nije službeno objavljen, ovo bi trebao biti drugi Gila album, pa čak i ako je odsviran samo kao radio prijenos, sve su pjesme bile potpuno nove i nisu bile dostupne na druga dva albuma. Još jednom možemo zahvaliti velikoj izdavačkoj kući Garden Of Delights što je službeno objavila ovaj sjajan album javnosti. Nažalost, ovo nije studijski album, tako da zvuk nije savršen, ali je prilično dobar s obzirom na uvjete i kompliciranu priču o trakama.
Ovaj album je pravi dragulj ako uživate u psych/prog rocku i potvrđuje Gilinu reputaciju njemačkog Pink Floyda (mnogo više nego što će Eloy ikada biti), ali po Floydu treba razumjeti razdoblje prije DSOTM-a. Da, radi se o pjesmama srednjeg tempa koje omogućuju odličnu promjenu raspoloženja i mnoge polu-improvizirane instrumentalne međuigre, dok su stihovi općenito dovoljno otvoreni da omoguće fleksibilnost. Većina pjesama ima osjećaj kao da su proširene verzije Floyd's More soundtracka i lako biste mogli kliziti nebom s doobiejem na raspolaganju.
Nakon ove ploče, Veit će formirati Popol Vuh , ali će se vratiti s Fichelscherom i Florianom Frickeom kako bi snimio sljedeći konceptualni album Wounded Knee o organiziranom masakru amerindijanaca. U međuvremenu, ovo posthumno izdanje smatra se punopravnim Gilinim albumom i točno u rangu s povijesna dva albuma. Obavezno za psihe i Krautheadse.ladislav&zivanovic.............

Although this album was never officially released at the time, this should be Gila's second album, and even if it was played only as a radio broadcast, all the songs were brand new and were not available on the other two albums. Once again we can thank the great label Garden Of Delights for officially releasing this great album to the public. Unfortunately, this is not a studio album, so the sound is not perfect, but it is quite good given the conditions and complicated story of the tapes.
This album is a real gem if you enjoy psych/prog rock and confirm Gila's reputation as Germany's Pink Floyd (much more than Eloy will ever be), but according to Floyd you need to understand the period before DSOTM. Yes, they are medium-tempo songs that allow for a great change of mood and many semi-improvised instrumental interplays, while the lyrics are generally open enough to allow for flexibility. Most songs feel like extended versions of Floyd's More soundtrack and you could easily glide through the sky with doobie at your disposal.
After this record, Veit will form Popol Vuh , but will return with Fichelscher and Florian Fricke to record wounded knee's next concept album about the organized massacre of American people. Meanwhile, this posthumous release is considered a full-fledged Gila album and exactly on a par with the historical two albums. Mandatory for psyches and Krautheads.ladislav&zivanovic.............
