After this aired, the creators confirmed that Korra and Asami are dating. Which was huge back in 2014 since there wasn't nearly as much LGBT representation in mainstream media back then (and as a result was a huge stepping stone for other great shows such as Owl House). There is a series of graphic novels that take place after the events of the last episode and they go more in depth with their relationship, starting with their first date in the spirit world. And the creators are planning three movies set in the Avatar universe (one is going to be about Avatar Kyoshi (2024), one about Zuko (2025) and one about Korra (2026)).
This was such a great reaction! It’s been a lot of fun watching the series with you, and seeing your perspective on the show. I also love The Legend of Korra, and getting to watch it with someone else is a lot more fun than just watching it on my own. I look forward to watching more series with you. Good luck with your training!
Ponybro: "Why does [Meelo] have to look like me?" Oh... oh my, the dead-eye stare makes a lot more sense now. For what it's worth, I will never mistake you for that farting, forced-comedy misfire (who I'm assuming ate his younger brother, since we never see him after the time skip).
In an earlier draft of this episode, Mako actually died for real during the whole 'explode the colossus' thing, which is why the scene is built up like that, but then they decided last minute to have him survive with an arm injury instead.
Great reaction bro as always but you actually watch the censored version hahaa there is or at least back in the day there was an official uncensored version where asami and korra kissed in the spirit portal in the last frame
@Strebiskunk 2nd Channel I just look it up and you are right the episode I saw was altered. It’s the same episode but the ending was altered and apparently fanmade and in my country the altered version was actually used and published. So I‘m sorry for what I said earlier it was false because it was fanmade.
I kinda doubt that, given that the creators had to be sneaky just to get Korra and Asami holding hands at the end. As far as I'm aware, the only time they kissed was in the comics. If you don't mind me asking, how/where was this uncensored version made available?
Man i loved this show, i dont care what people say, i loved the Korra series.
Also, PonyBro, i guess you already know it by now, but at the end, Korra and Asami became canon couple, the creator and writers of the show confirmed it many times.
So yeah, the KorraSami is now canon ;3
There are so many amazing fanarts of this couple, if you have time you can check it out.
Man, for real those two are one of my favorite couples. ♡
congrats on watching all of avatar what a amazing series I hear they’re making three movies or something I’m definitely excited for your next reaction I’d recommend my hero academia if you haven’t already keep being awesome also my brother just signed a contract for the army he’s going next month your kindness is a big relief for how he’ll turn out for me haha
little quick word here the writers confirmed that they are lesbian and late on adopted a child but to nickelodeon at that time lesbians and gay were a huge no no so it just stayed with holding hands and hugging
The Avatar always gets the girl in the end, no exceptions.

Also, Korra's Amity hair was definitely a sign.
That story about your Boar encounter in the beginning sounds like that scene in Predator, where they think they caught it.
2 likesLet's hope you don't get hunted down like in that movie!
