Exactly plus If you compare it to a transformation type thing like with Nightmare moon it could theoretically be a darker form of herself, since you say that Opaline is purple while Flurryheart is pink.
Luna and Nightmare Moon have different cout colors too, Luna is good and Nightmare Moon is a villian and when Luna turned into Nightmare Moon she changed her name. So this is a perfect theory!

I swear to God that this song reminds me of "Count On Me" by Bruno Mars. In particular the part where they say "Side" and elongate it reminds me so heavily of when Bruno Mars says "ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh, ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh, yeah yeah" in the song. I know there slightly different melodies but the first time I heard this song I thought of that, and now I can't help but to think of this again. I literally can't help to hear it every time.

My idea is that the pony of shadows originally put sturgeon and the pillars into a trap and teleported them to limbo himself then when Luna within the perfect moment in her life he attacked her and turn her into nightmare Moon after she became good again if the 10th but we was doing those things on its own it what is started having a fight with Luna but that means the pony of shadows was controlling the tent of us it was trying to regain control of Luna through the creature at the same time as the tent best fit afternoon is goatThe pony of shadows also photo of the guilt of Luna he then went back in time and took over Stygian somehow was able to escape from that spelling away and by now somehow he still probably tormenting Luna trying to get her to become a nightmare Moon once again please say I’m not the only one who thinks this is possible because I don’t wanna be alone in this
